The Delta States Rural Development Network Program supports support the planning, development, and implementation of integrated health care networks that collaborate in order to (i) achieve efficiencies; (ii) expand access to, coordinate, and improve the quality of basic health care services and associated health outcomes in rural areas within the eight rural Mississippi Delta Region states (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee); and (iii) strengthen the rural health care system as a whole.

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The over-arching goal of this NIDA R25 program is to support educational activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nations biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs. This NOFO is intended to support research education activities that enhance the knowledge of substance use and substance use disorder research. The program is intended for those in clinically focused careers and/or those training for careers as clinicians/health service providers, clinical researchers, or optimally a combination of the two. This mechanism may not be used to support non-research-related clinical training.

Activities under this award are intended for implementation outside the United States and its territories. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the NIJ FY 2026 Research and Evaluation of Services for Victims of Crime. This opportunity is a collaboration between the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) and the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). It will fund research and evaluation projects to understand the needs of crime victims and survivors and to help improve services they receive. The NIH Director"s New Innovator Award supports early-stage investigators of exceptional creativity who propose bold and highly innovative research projects with the potential to produce a major impact on broad, important areas relevant to the mission of NIH. Applications in any area within the biomedical sciences are welcome; topics may involve basic, translational, or clinical research. The NIH Director's New Innovator Award complements other ongoing efforts by NIH and its Institutes and Centers to fund early-stage investigators. OHSEPR administers the U. S. Repatriation Program (Program), which provides temporary assistance to eligible U.S. citizens and their dependents (repatriates) returned by the Department of State from a foreign country because of (1) destitution, illness, war, threat of war, or a similar crisis, and who are without available resources, or (2) mental illness. Temporary assistance as defined in 42 U.S.C. 1313(c) is provided upon their arrival in the United States and is available initially for up to 90 days from a repatriate"s date of arrival in the United States. Temporary assistance is provided in the form of a service loan and is repayable to the U.S. Government. OHSEPR leads the planning, coordination, and execution of all domestic repatriation plans and operations conducted as part of the Program. Through Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), they act in support of OHSEPR"s management of an emergency repatriation mission by providing temporary assistance to repatriates. The goal of this funding opportunity is to increase state or territorial readiness and capabilities for emergency repatriation operations through planning, training, and exercises, culminating in an update to the state or territory emergency repatriation plan. The purpose of this NOFO is to: 1) develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities of states or territories for emergency repatriation operations and 2) increase the number of states or territories sufficiently prepared for an emergency repatriation incident.

The Title V Competitive SRAE program competitively funds projects to implement sexual risk avoidance education that teaches youth ages 10-19 how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. Projects must: 1) use medically accurate information referencing peer-reviewed publications by educational, scientific, governmental, or health organizations; 2) implement an evidence-based approach integrating research findings with practical strategies that align with the needs and desired outcomes for the intended audience; 3) teach the benefits associated with personal responsibility, self-regulation, goal setting, healthy decision making, and a focus on the future; 4) discourage sexual coercion, dating violence, and other youth risk behaviors such as underage drinking or illicit drug use; 5) be culturally appropriate, recognizing the experiences of youth from diverse communities, backgrounds, and experiences; 6) normalize avoiding non-marital sexual activity; and 7) be age-appropriate. This opportunity supports the development and implementation of such projects in states that do not accept FY 2026 allocations for Title V State SRAE.

The Administration for Children and Families, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Family and Youth Services Bureau announces the availability of funds under the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) Program. The purpose of the SRAE Program is to fund projects to implement sexual risk avoidance education that teach participants how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. The services are targeted to participants that reside in areas with high rates of teen births and/or are at greatest risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The goals of SRAE are to empower participants to make healthy decisions, and provide tools and resources to prevent pregnancy, STIs, and youth engagement in other risky behaviors. Successful applicants are expected to submit program plans that agree to: 1) use medically accurate information referenced to peer-reviewed publications by education, scientific, governmental or health organizations; 2) implement sexual risk avoidance curricula and/or strategies with an evidence-based approach to integrate research findings with practical implementation that aligns with the needs and desired outcomes for the intended audience; and 3) teach the benefits associated with self-regulation, success sequencing for poverty prevention, healthy relationships, goal setting, and resisting sexual coercion, dating violence, and other youth risk behaviors such as underage drinking or illicit drug use without normalizing teen sexual activity.

The Blueprint Neurotherapeutics Network (BPN) invites applications from neuroscience investigators seeking support to advance their small molecule drug discovery and development projects into the clinic. Participants in the BPN are responsible for conducting all studies that involve disease- or target-specific assays, models, and other research tools and receive funding for all activities to be conducted in their own laboratories. In addition, applicants will collaborate with NIH-funded consultants and can augment their project with NIH contract research organizations (CROs) that specialize in medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, formulations development, chemical synthesis including under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Phase I clinical testing. Projects can enter either at the Discovery stage, to optimize promising hit compounds through medicinal chemistry to the Development stage, to advance a single development candidate through Investigational New Drug (IND)-enabling toxicology studies and phase I clinical testing. The Personal Responsibility Education Program-Innovative Strategies (PREIS) builds the evidence base for adolescent pregnancy prevention interventions that are effective with high risk and vulnerable youth populations and addresses gaps with new promising program models. PREIS funds rigorous impact evaluations of innovative youth pregnancy prevention interventions that target services to high-risk, vulnerable, and culturally under-represented youth populations, including youth in foster care/child welfare settings, juvenile justice, victims of trafficking, youth who have runaway or experience homelessness, youth with HIV/AIDS, expectant youth who are under 21 years of age and their partners, parenting youth who are under 21 years of age and their partners, and youth residing in areas with high birth rates for youth. Projects must implement at least three of the six congressionally mandated adulthood preparation subjects (APS) which include: 1) healthy relationships, 2) adolescent development, 3) financial literacy, 4) parent-child communication, 5) educational and career success, and 6) healthy life skills. This program will fund projects focused on technology-enabled strategies that improve adoptive matching, placement, and permanency for children in foster care awaiting adoption. The funds, awarded to four regional centers, will be used to design, implement and evaluate these strategies.These centers will focus on children with an adoption permanency goal or who are legally free for adoption due to child welfare involvement. Centers will partner with state, territorial, tribal, and local child welfare agencies and courts to develop secure, accessible technology solutions that improve how families are matched with children in need of permanent homes. Proposed solutions must be interoperable with existing systems and may include tools such as data-informed recruitment support, AI-assisted matching, and predictive analytics.Each center will strengthen data infrastructure, support continuous quality improvement, and develop scalable resources that jurisdictions nationwide can adopt.
