Willamette Valley Project (WVP) 2026 Natural Resource Management (NRM) Education and Training of Botanically Sophisticated Restoration Workers This Agreement will assist NWP in fulfilling environmental stewardship responsibilities consisting of restoration and management of native landscapes and wildlife habitat at NWP Projects while providing education and training in botanically sophisticated ecological restoration design, implementation, and community involvement to young professionals, veterans, displaced workers, college students, or other community members; and to provide opportunities for local primary and secondary school students to produce and install native plant materials in restoration sites, participating in stewardship of local habitats and gaining knowledge and appreciation of the environment on USACE Portland District (NWP) lands. The recipient’s participants will gain experience with project planning, development, and implementation at water resources projects under USACE jurisdiction at the Willamette Valley Project. Program activities may occur at any site in the Willamette Valley Project but will be concentrated at the southern lakes: Fern Ridge, Fall Creek, Dexter, Lookout Point, Hills Creek, Cottage Grove and Dorena. The primary objective of the EDMAP component of the National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program (NCGMP) is to train the next generation of geologic mappers. To do this, the NCGMP provides funds for graduate student and upper-level undergraduate student projects relevant to the creation of geologic maps (defined broadly as maps that characterize the solid Earth and/or its constituents). Through these cooperative agreements, the NCGMP hopes to expand the research and educational capacity of national academic programs that teach Earth science students the broad range of techniques relevant to geologic mapping and the analysis of field, geophysical, borehole, and remote sensing data. As of 2024, EDMAP has funded more than 1,501 students from more than 177 universities. A list of funded FY2025 EDMAP projects can be found in Attachment D of this announcement. DOE SC hereby invites applications for support under the ECRP in the following program areas: Advanced Scientific Computing Research (ASCR); Basic Energy Sciences (BES); Biological and Environmental Research (BER); Fusion Energy Sciences (FES); High Energy Physics (HEP); Nuclear Physics (NP); Isotope Research and Development and Production (DOE IP). The purpose of this program is to support the development of individual research programs of outstanding scientists early in their careers and to stimulate research careers in the areas supported by SC.

The Innovation in Behavioral Health (IBH) Model (the “Model”) for Cohort II Recipients is a seven-year, voluntary service delivery and payment model promoting integrated care in behavioral health (BH) settings. The IBH Model will test the impact of a value-based payment (VBP) model aligned across Medicaid and Medicare that supports an integrated care delivery framework in specialty BH organizations and settings for adult Medicaid, Medicare, and dually eligible beneficiaries with moderate to severe mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders (SUDs).The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), through its Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (Innovation Center), will select up to five state Medicaid agencies (SMAs) to participate in the Model. The Model will have a seven-year performance period, which will be comprised of a two-year Pre-Implementation Period (beginning January 2027 and ending December 2028) along with a five-year Implementation Period (beginning January 2029 and ending December 2033). Up to $7.5 million dollars in cooperative agreement award funding will be available to each selected Recipient over the course of the seven years.

Direct-fund basic research at universities that complement applied research in nuclear forensics at the DOE National Laboratories to include foundational disciplines of radiochemistry; geochemistry; shock physics; nuclear physics, science and engineering; radiation detector science; nuclear material science engineering; nuclear chemical engineering; modeling, simulation and optimization methods for nuclear applications; and seismology and infrasound methods supporting yield determination. A secondary benefit to this research is the development of a diverse and highly talented cadre of technical professionals, including scientists, engineers, technicians, and operational personnel, who will become the next generation of technical leaders in nuclear missions, such as nuclear forensics, nonproliferation, incident response, intelligence, and energy. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Veterinary Services (VS) and Wildlife Services (WS) is announcing the availability of around $12,050,000 in cooperative agreement funding to control and prevent CWD in farmed and wild cervids of which up to $2,000,000 may be awarded through non-competitive cooperative agreements as needed to address CWD outbreaks in farmed cervids. States play an essential role in conserving and recovering species listed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), 16 U.S.C. 1535. Listed species under NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service’s (NMFS) jurisdiction may spend all or part of their life cycles in state waters, and success in conserving these species depends largely on working cooperatively with the States. NMFS is authorized to provide Federal assistance to eligible State agencies to support the development and implementation of conservation programs for listed marine and anadromous species that reside within that State. This assistance, provided in the form of grants or cooperative agreements through the Species Recovery Grants to States Program, can be used to support conservation activities for any endangered or threatened species, as well as monitoring candidate species, recently delisted species, and species proposed for listing under the ESA. Funded activities may include development and implementation of management efforts, scientific research, and public education and outreach. Proposals should seek to address priority actions in ESA Recovery Plans or Recovery Outlines to the extent possible. This NOFO seeks applications for payments under the statutorily required State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) to eligible “states” and “units of local government” that incurred certain types of costs due to “incarceration” of “undocumented criminal aliens” during the July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, reporting period. OJP is committed to advancing work that furthers DOJ’s mission to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights. OJP provides federal leadership, funding, and other critical resources to directly support law enforcement, combat violent crime, protect American children, provide services to American crime victims, and address public safety challenges, including human trafficking and the opioid crisis.

The 811 PRA program promotes the development of innovative state-level strategies to increase access to new and existing affordable supportive housing units for persons with disabilities. The program also supports collaborations between State Housing Agencies and State Health and Human Service/Medicaid Agencies to increase access to supportive services. Many states have already formed partnerships to address this need, and HUD intends to further support these efforts while incentivizing other states to take similar approaches.This program gives states the flexibility to award and administer these funds to address the shortage of affordable and integrated housing for persons with disabilities. The purpose of this NOFO is to strengthen public health capacity of 1) Tribal Epidemiology Centers (TECs) and 2) the Tribes, Tribal Organizations, Urban Indian organizations, and Intertribal Consortiums that they support to fulfill the seven functions of TECs as outlined in the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA) at 25 U.S.C. 1621m(b). The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to provide continuing support for specific pathogen-free (SPF) macaque colonies previously funded under the auspices of PAR-21-089 and PAR-18-669 that support Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) research. Breeding colonies are essential to sustain appropriate SPF macaques for research related to HIV/AIDS. Pedigree SPF macaques are free of certain viruses, which may confound the results of HIV/AIDS-related investigations or present a risk to the personnel who care for the animals. The SPF macaques are genetically characterized for major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I types, because MHC class I genotypes have large effects on macaque immune responses to Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) that can induce AIDS in nonhuman primates (NHPs) and on human immune responses to HIV.

The purpose of the Tribal Undergraduate to Graduate Research Training and Leadership Experiences (TURTLE) program is to fund federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Tribes, tribal colleges or universities, Tribal health programs, or Tribal organizations (collectively termed, eligible Tribal Entities) to identify and develop a pool of scientists to conduct research on AI/AN health and health disparities. Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), NIGMS will provide support for a phased award to eligible AI/AN Tribal Entities to develop (UE5) and implement (T32) effective training and mentoring activities for research-oriented individuals earning a doctoral degree in a biomedical research field at a variety of institutions across the United States and territories. The overall purpose is to support the development of individuals who have the technical, operational, and professional skills required to conduct AI/AN health research in a culturally appropriate, ethically responsible and rigorous manner, to complete Ph.D.s in a biomedical field, and to transition into careers in the biomedical research workforce.

CDC seeks to enhance the nation’s ability to rapidly mobilize, surge, and respond to public health emergencies (PHEs) as identified by CDC by establishing a roster of approved but unfunded (ABU) applicants that may receive rapid funding to respond to PHEs of such magnitude, complexity, or significance that they would have an overwhelming impact upon, and exceed resources available to, the jurisdictions. Applicants will undergo an objective merit review process, and entities that successfully meet the requirements for approval will be placed on the ABU list. CDC will use this ABU list for emergencies that require federal support to effectively respond to, manage, and address identified public health threats. CDC will make funding related to this NOFO available once it has determined a public health emergency exists or is considered imminent and will be contingent upon the availability and stipulations of appropriations. CDC will provide additional guidance and information to those on the ABU list when this NOFO is funded. Since this NOFO is designed to collect applications prior to a PHE, applicants are encouraged to submit work plans and budgets that demonstrate their ability to respond to a PHE. The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to advance efforts for a nationally integrated animal food safety system providing state animal food regulatory programs the ability to achieve full implementation of the Animal Food Regulatory Program Standards (AFRPS) within 5 years and to maintain full implementation. The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to solicit applications for inclusion as Animal and Veterinary Innovation Centers, which are intended to form long-term partnerships to address priority areas for FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
