The purpose of the RIIA and AGFEI programs, under Assistance Listing number 10.308, is to promote and strengthen the ability of eligible institutions in the Insular Areas to carry out education and research, respectively, within the food and agricultural sciences.

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Brazzaville announces an open competition to implement a program designed to advance key U.S. foreign policy priorities in the Republic of the Congo (ROC). This program will celebrate the Freedom 250 milestone, promote American innovation and technology, and highlight the upcoming World Cup hosted in the United States. It will also foster stronger commercial ties by promoting American businesses and trade between the U.S. and ROC.The program aims to counter illegal immigration to the United States and combat trafficking in persons within the ROC, while also promoting the English language and American culture. Additionally, the initiative will strengthen the U.S. Government (USG) alumni networks in the ROC, building on existing relationships and expanding the reach of U.S. public diplomacy.Target audiences include youth, entrepreneurs, educators, civil society leaders, and USG program alumni. Eligible recipients are Congolese and U.S.-based non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and other qualified entities with experience in public diplomacy, education, entrepreneurship, or anti-trafficking initiatives.By supporting these objectives, the program will reinforce the U.S.-ROC partnership, promote shared values, and contribute to regional stability and prosperity. 

The purpose of the Special Research Grants Program for Aquaculture Research (Assistance Listing Number 10.200) is to support the development of a vibrant, robust, and profitable aquaculture industry in the United States by generating new, science-based information and technology to address industry constraints. Applied research is needed to develop practical solutions that will facilitate growth and remove limitations to expansion of the United States aquaculture industry. Results of projects supported by this program are intended to help improve the profitability of the United States aquaculture industry, reduce the multi-billion-dollar United States seafood trade deficit, increase domestic food security, expand markets for United States-produced products, and provide more jobs for rural and coastal America.

The purpose of this program is to identify youth and young adults, not more than 25 years old, at clinical high risk for psychosis and provide evidence-based interventions to prevent the onset of psychosis or lessen the severity of psychotic disorder.

Program Purpose: The purpose of the SPDG program is to assist State educational agencies (SEAs) in reforming and improving their systems for personnel preparation and professional development in early intervention, educational, and transition services to improve results for children with disabilities. The U.S. Department of Education (ED) shall award grants, on a competitive basis, to SEAs to carry out the activities described in the State plan submitted under section 653 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) (20 U.S.C. 1453). The purpose of this program, under Assistance Listing Number 10.228, is to promote and strengthen the ability of Alaska Native-serving Institutions and Native Hawaiian-serving Institutions to carry out education, applied research, and related community development programs. NIFA intends this program to address educational needs, as determined by each institution, within a broadly defined area of food, agricultural, natural resources, and human sciences (FANH). 

The purpose of the GusNIP-NI is to fund and evaluate projects intended to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands; and the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) Block Grants participants in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands by providing incentives at the point of purchase. When the term “SNAP/NAP” is used it is means both the SNAPNAP Block Grants.

The primary goal of BFRDP, under assistance listing number 10.311, is to help beginning farmers and ranchers in the United States and its territories enter and/or improve their successes in farming, ranching, and management of nonindustrial private forest lands, through support for projects that provide education, outreach, and technical assistance to give beginning farmers and ranchers the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to make informed decisions for their operations and enhance their sustainability. 

As the United States commemorates 250 years of independence through the America250 and Freedom250 initiatives, the U.S. Department of State's U.S. Embassy Praia announces an open competition to celebrate this historic milestone while advancing core U.S. foreign policy priorities in Cabo Verde. This initiative promotes democratic governance, inclusive economic growth, and strengthened bilateral partnerships through interactive programming highlighting American excellence in innovation, education, culture, and democratic institutions.In alignment with the U.S. Strategy for Sub-Saharan Africa, this program seeks proposals from eligible organizations and individuals to engage youth, emerging leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, and broader Cabo Verdean audiences. The America250 and Freedom250 commemorations provide a strategic opportunity to explore enduring principles of freedom, civic responsibility, and democratic values—examining how these principles have shaped American democracy for 250 years and their relevance to contemporary challenges including freedom of expression, economic opportunity, digital access, civic participation, and innovation.Priority areas include technology and innovation, artificial intelligence and digital responsibility, cybersecurity, American culture and history, and youth civic participation. All proposals must include a clear American element, such as collaboration with U.S. experts, institutions, or exchange alumni, or content highlighting U.S. democratic institutions and innovation.

The Gulf of America Division (“GAD”), located in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Region 4, is part of the EPA Great Water Body program that collaborates to protect, maintain, and restore the health and productivity of the Gulf of America consistent with the economic well-being of the region. EPA’s actions are designed to support improved water quality; to enhance, restore and/or protect natural habitats; and to improve the region’s ability to withstand storm events. This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications to improve water quality and/or habitat through collaboration with America’s farmers. Applications must align with the Administration’s "Powering the Great American Comeback" initiative and align with EPA statutory authorities. Activities must take place in the Gulf of America watershed and/or within the United States contiguous zone in the Gulf of America. This opportunity is targeted to organizations described in Section 2.A. that are committed to supporting American farmers and preventing, reducing, or eliminating nutrient pollution while remaining good stewards of tax dollars.

The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Mission to NATO announces an open competition to implement a program that strengthens transatlantic security by advancing understanding of NATO’s role in collective defense and defense industrial cooperation. Through the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program, the Office of the Public Affairs Advisor will support initiatives that connect U.S. and Allied stakeholders, build expertise, and foster collaboration across defense, policy, and innovation. Programs will target policymakers, researchers, industry representatives, and emerging leaders across NATO Allies and partner countries. Activities may include workshops, exchanges, research, and digital engagement focused on defense investment, industrial capacity, and the integration of emerging technologies. Eligible recipients include not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, and other entities capable of implementing public diplomacy programs with a clear U.S. component. The AgrAbility program works to increase the likelihood that individuals with disabilities, including veterans, and their families engaged in the agricultural enterprise (AgrAbility customers) will become more successful. The program supports cooperative demonstration projects at state and regional levels and one technical assistance and training national project. The AgrAbility supports American rural communities by: i. Funding cooperative, demonstration State and Regional AgrAbility Projects (SRAPs) between State Cooperative Extension Services based at either 1862 or 1890 Land-grant Institutions and private, nonprofit community-based disability serving organizations to provide on-the-farm agricultural education and assistance to accommodate farmers with disabilities and their families; and ii. Funding a National AgrAbility Project (NAP) at a national private nonprofit disability organization to provide technical assistance, training, information dissemination, and other activities to support community-based, direct service and on-site rehabilitation and assistive technology programs for farmers (including veterans) with disabilities and their families who are engaged in farming or farm-related occupations or, in the case of veterans, who are pursuing new farming opportunities. 

Program Description: The Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program (Javits) supports evidence-based research, demonstration projects, innovative strategies, and similar activities designed to build and enhance the ability of elementary schools and secondary schools nationwide to identify gifted and talented students and meet their special educational needs. A major emphasis of the program is on implementing evidence-based activities that accelerate learning and improve student outcomes. The Rural Health and Safety Education Program, under ALN 10.516, seeks to foster quality of life in rural communities by providing the essential knowledge necessary for successful programs of rural development; improving coordination among Federal agencies, other levels of government and institutions, and private organizations in rural areas; and developing and disseminating information about rural conditions. The RHSE program supports quality of life in rural communities across the United States by addressing the relationship between rural prosperity and rural health and safety in the context of food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences.  

The SAC program, Assistance Listing Number 10.200, supports projects that lead to expanded adaptation and increased acreage in the United States of alternative crops grown for food/feedstuff, oil, and feedstocks for industrial value-added products. Such crops are important to U.S. agriculture in that these can provide new and profitable cropping options in response to low commodity prices and changes in consumer demand for new agricultural-based products. Oilseed, grain, and feedstock crops have major uses in healthy human foods and animal feeds, as natural pest control when used as cover crops, and as a feedstock in industrial chemical manufacture and biofuel production. Grains/pseudocereals and legumes/pulses can play an important role in the cropping rotation for food/feedstuff and/or feedstock for industrial value-added purposes, as cover crops, and as habitat for pollinators.

The purpose of ODF, under assistance listing 10.233, is to build frameworks to create neutral and secure data repositories and cooperatives where producers, universities and nonprofit entities can store and share data in ways that will foster agricultural innovation, support technological progress, profitability, and increase production efficiencies. The program prioritizes frameworks that address farm and ranch profitability, new markets and uses for agricultural products, invasive species, soil health to regenerate long-term productivity, or improving human health through precision nutrient and food quality. 

The purpose of this notice is to solicit applications for two funding categories: (1) Planning and (2) Bridge Project grants (a project with total eligible costs not greater than $100 million) for awards under the Bridge Investment Program (BIP). This notice establishes a “rolling application” process for Planning and Bridge Project applications by providing the schedule, requirements, and selection process for such projects for the remaining available amounts of the BIP funding provided by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for FY 2023 through FY 2026, which total up to $9.7 billion (see section B.1 for details for funds available for each fiscal year). The primary goal and objective of the Methyl Bromide Transition program is to support the discovery and implementation of practical pest management alternatives to methyl bromide. The MBT program seeks to solve pest problems in key agricultural production and post-harvest management systems, processing facilities, and transport systems for which methyl bromide has been withdrawn or withdrawal is imminent.

NOAA announces the availability of Federal funding, authorized pursuant to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. 117-58 (November 15, 2021) and the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026, Pub. L. 119-74 (January 23, 2026), for necessary expenses associated with the restoration of Pacific salmon populations. The Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund (PCSRF) program makes such funding available to the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Alaska, and federally recognized tribes of the Columbia River and Pacific Coast (including Alaska) for projects necessary for the conservation of salmon and steelhead populations listed as threatened or endangered, or identified by a State as at-risk to be so-listed; for maintaining populations necessary for exercise of tribal treaty fishing rights or native subsistence fishing; or for the conservation of Pacific coastal salmon and steelhead habitat. This announcement supports the Executive Order 14276 Restoring America’s Seafood Competitiveness by focusing on core fisheries management, addressing threats to our nation’s waters, and using science to strengthen healthy and harvestable populations of Pacific salmon. The Archaeology Program supports anthropologically relevant archaeological research to increase understanding of past behaviors. This means that the value of the proposed research can be justified within an anthropological context. It is the responsibility of the investigator to explain convincingly why the focus of their research is significant and has the potential to contribute to anthropological knowledge. The program sets no priorities by either geographic region or time period. It also has no priorities in regard to theoretical orientation or question. While the program, in order to encourage innovative research, neither limits nor defines specific categories of research, most proposals either request funds for field research or the analysis of archaeological material through multiple approaches.
