Announces the availability of $488,628,000 for FY 2026 Port Infrastructure Development Program grants.

The Rural Business-Cooperative Service announces the availability of $6,000,000 in competitive grant funds for the FY 2026 Delta Health Care Services Grant (DHCS) Program as authorized under Section 379G of the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 U.S.C. 2008u), as amended by the Agricultural Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115-334). The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to address the continued unmet health needs in the Delta Region, through cooperation among health care professionals, institutions of higher education, research institutions and economic development entities in the Delta Region.

The purpose of the Smith-Lever Special Needs Competitive Grants Program (SLSNCGP), Assistance Listing 10.511, is to support innovative, education-based approaches to address disaster preparedness and potential responses to natural, human-made, or technological disasters or disaster threats that pose risks to communities.

The Employment and Training Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is soliciting applications in support of the administration of the Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) program on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The SEED program provides funding to increase the number of highly effective educators by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices that prepare, develop, or enhance the skills of educators to improve student outcomes. This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) provides funding to conduct efficacy studies in an established rare disease preclinical model to demonstrate that a proposed therapeutic agent warrants further development. In addition to preclinical efficacy, accompanying pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic studies would be supported. Therapeutic agents include small molecules, biologics or biotechnology-derived products. The goal of this NOFO is to spur therapeutic development for a variety of rare diseases by advancing projects to the point where they would attract subsequent investment supporting full Investigational New Drug (IND) application development or progression to clinical trials in the case of repurposing or repositioning.

This funding opportunity seeks rigorous proposals on: (1) management and development of the correctional workforce; and (2) correctional officer safety. Proposals for research outside of these two topics will not be considered responsive to this NOFO. Applicants may submit more than one proposal; however, only one topic may be submitted per proposal. Applicants are requested to identify the topic addressed in their application on the title page of the proposal narrative. This funding opportunity seeks to fund rigorous and innovative research and evaluation projects to fill knowledge gaps in two topical areas: 1) research on malleable factors that affect school violence in K-12 schools; and 2) evaluations of the impact and effectiveness of school safety approaches implemented for purposes authorized under the STOP School Violence Act. This NOFO is released by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) in partnership with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA).

This funding opportunity seeks proposals for research and evaluation studies to produce practical knowledge that can improve the examination and interpretation of physical evidence in forensic science laboratories. Specifically, NIJ seeks applications for rigorous research and evaluation projects that will: • Identify and inform the forensic community of best practices through the evaluation of existing and emerging laboratory protocols; and/or • Have a direct and immediate impact on laboratory efficiency and assist in making laboratory policy decisions.

This program will support state, local, and tribal government efforts to reduce wasteful spending and inefficiencies across justice system operations and redirect that funding to target crime and other public safety and/or justice system challenges. Applicants should propose projects that address one or more urgent local justice system challenge. The USGS Earthquake Hazards Program (EHP) issues this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for assistance to support research in earthquake hazards, the physics of earthquakes, earthquake occurrence, and earthquake safety policy.
