This program funds projects that improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of intercity passenger and freight rail.

This Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01) helps researchers develop skills in violence prevention research. The goal is to support scientists in becoming independent researchers. Applicants must propose a research project that focuses on at least one of the following NCIPC research priorities related to interpersonal violence and suicide affecting children and youth (birth to age 17). These research priorities include adverse childhood experiences, child abuse and neglect, youth violence, intimate partner violence (including teen dating violence), sexual violence, suicide, and cross-cutting preventions (i.e. examining two or more of these priority topics). Applicants are encouraged to explore multiple forms of interpersonal violence and/or suicide among children or youth, community factors that increase the risk of interpersonal violence and/or suicide, and the practical relevance of the research for prevention and intervention efforts.

Expected Outcome:Upon completion of the Action, the European HPC and AI ecosystems will be strengthened through an effective network of AI Factories supporting the adoption and use of HPC in the development of trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) by startups and SMEs, but also by the private and public sector in general, taking into account the specific needs of the local and national ecosystems. Many valuable and widely available data sets have been generated by multiple Common Fund programs. The purpose of this NOFO is to announce the availability of funding to demonstrate and enhance the utility of selected Common Fund (https://commonfund.nih.gov/) data sets, including generating hypotheses and catalyzing discoveries. Award recipients are asked to provide feedback on the utility of the Common Fund data resources.

The Rural Health and Safety Education Program, under ALN 10.516, seeks to foster quality of life in rural communities by providing the essential knowledge necessary for successful programs of rural development; improving coordination among Federal agencies, other levels of government and institutions, and private organizations in rural areas; and developing and disseminating information about rural conditions. The RHSE program supports quality of life in rural communities across the United States by addressing the relationship between rural prosperity and rural health and safety in the context of food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences.  

Program Description: The Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program (Javits) supports evidence-based research, demonstration projects, innovative strategies, and similar activities designed to build and enhance the ability of elementary schools and secondary schools nationwide to identify gifted and talented students and meet their special educational needs. A major emphasis of the program is on implementing evidence-based activities that accelerate learning and improve student outcomes. The AgrAbility program works to increase the likelihood that individuals with disabilities, including veterans, and their families engaged in the agricultural enterprise (AgrAbility customers) will become more successful. The program supports cooperative demonstration projects at state and regional levels and one technical assistance and training national project. The AgrAbility supports American rural communities by: i. Funding cooperative, demonstration State and Regional AgrAbility Projects (SRAPs) between State Cooperative Extension Services based at either 1862 or 1890 Land-grant Institutions and private, nonprofit community-based disability serving organizations to provide on-the-farm agricultural education and assistance to accommodate farmers with disabilities and their families; and ii. Funding a National AgrAbility Project (NAP) at a national private nonprofit disability organization to provide technical assistance, training, information dissemination, and other activities to support community-based, direct service and on-site rehabilitation and assistive technology programs for farmers (including veterans) with disabilities and their families who are engaged in farming or farm-related occupations or, in the case of veterans, who are pursuing new farming opportunities. 

The Employment and Training Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is soliciting application in support of the administration of the Teacher Quality Partnership (TQP) program on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The purpose of the TQP program is to improve student achievement; improve the quality of prospective and new teachers by improving teacher preparation and enhancing professional development to hold teacher preparation programs at institutions of higher education (IHEs) accountable for preparing teachers who meet applicable State certification and licensure requirements; and recruit highly qualified individuals into the teaching force. The TQP program also supports the use of Registered Apprenticeships as a high-quality, work-based learning pathway for preparing and credentialing new teachers based on demonstrated skill and merit, particularly in high-need schools and subject areas experiencing teacher shortages.

The World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program supports exploratory and developmental research projects (R21) that address issues related to diagnostic or treatment uncertainty among individuals receiving monitoring and/or treatment under Subtitle C of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, as amended. This R21 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is intended to encourage exploratory/developmental research by supporting the early and conceptual stages of project development to assess the feasibility of new areas of investigation with the potential to improve treatment effectiveness and diagnostic practices. These studies may lead to breakthroughs in a particular area or to the development of new interventions, techniques, agents, methodologies, models, or approaches with potential clinical impact. They are expected to break new ground or extend prior discoveries in new directions or applications. Applicants are expected to propose research for which there is likely to be minimal or no preliminary data.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits applications to develop web-accessible data archives to capture, store, and curate data related to BRAIN Initiative activities. The data archives will work with the research community to incorporate tools that allow users to analyze and visualize the data, but the creation of such tools is not part of this NOFO. The data archives will use appropriate standards to describe the data, but the creation of such standards is not part of this NOFO. The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Lifelong Learning is accepting applications for the Media Projects program. The purpose of this program is to support the development, production, and distribution of radio programs, podcasts, and documentary films that engage general audiences with humanities ideas in creative and appealing ways. NEH makes Media Projects awards at two levels: Development and Production.

The purpose of this program is to support formal education by strengthening the teaching and study of the humanities at institutions of higher education. For 2026, projects must be focused on Western civilization, American history, American government and civics, and/or the Great Books tradition.

Program funding of $230 million is available and will expire if not obligated prior to the close of business on September 30, 2026. No award may exceed $20 million or be less than $250,000. Requests for funding that are more than $20 million or less than $250,000 will not be scored and will be removed from consideration. Per statute, $76.65 million is available for projects that enhance the readiness of a military department or mission assurance at a military installation, and $76.65 million is available for projects that enhance military family quality of life at a military installation. The remaining $76.7 million is available for the remaining top-ranked projects as rated by the Defense Community Infrastructure Program Review Panel.

The NAWCA U.S. Small Grants Program goal is to promote partnerships between public agencies and groups interested in:Protecting, improving, restoring, and managing an appropriate distribution and a variety of wetland ecosystems and other habitats for wetland-associated migratory birds and other fish and wildlife in the U.S.;Maintaining and improving the current distribution of wetlands-associated migratory bird populations; andMaintaining an abundance of waterfowl (ducks, geese, and swans) and other populations of wetlands-associated migratory birds consistent with the objectives of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan, U.S. Shorebird Conservation Plan, Partners in Flight Bird Conservation Plan, and state related plans.The program requires a 1:1 non-federal match. The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Lifelong Learning is accepting applications for the Landmarks of American History and Culture and Summer Institutes program. The purpose of this program is to support humanities education through professional development for K-12 teachers and higher education faculty members.

The SAC program, Assistance Listing Number 10.200, supports projects that lead to expanded adaptation and increased acreage in the United States of alternative crops grown for food/feedstuff, oil, and feedstocks for industrial value-added products. Such crops are important to U.S. agriculture in that these can provide new and profitable cropping options in response to low commodity prices and changes in consumer demand for new agricultural-based products. Oilseed, grain, and feedstock crops have major uses in healthy human foods and animal feeds, as natural pest control when used as cover crops, and as a feedstock in industrial chemical manufacture and biofuel production. Grains/pseudocereals and legumes/pulses can play an important role in the cropping rotation for food/feedstuff and/or feedstock for industrial value-added purposes, as cover crops, and as habitat for pollinators.

The purpose of ODF, under assistance listing 10.233, is to build frameworks to create neutral and secure data repositories and cooperatives where producers, universities and nonprofit entities can store and share data in ways that will foster agricultural innovation, support technological progress, profitability, and increase production efficiencies. The program prioritizes frameworks that address farm and ranch profitability, new markets and uses for agricultural products, invasive species, soil health to regenerate long-term productivity, or improving human health through precision nutrient and food quality. 

The purpose of this notice is to solicit applications for two funding categories: (1) Planning and (2) Bridge Project grants (a project with total eligible costs not greater than $100 million) for awards under the Bridge Investment Program (BIP). This notice establishes a “rolling application” process for Planning and Bridge Project applications by providing the schedule, requirements, and selection process for such projects for the remaining available amounts of the BIP funding provided by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for FY 2023 through FY 2026, which total up to $9.7 billion (see section B.1 for details for funds available for each fiscal year). The primary goal and objective of the Methyl Bromide Transition program is to support the discovery and implementation of practical pest management alternatives to methyl bromide. The MBT program seeks to solve pest problems in key agricultural production and post-harvest management systems, processing facilities, and transport systems for which methyl bromide has been withdrawn or withdrawal is imminent.

NOAA announces the availability of Federal funding, authorized pursuant to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. 117-58 (November 15, 2021) and the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026, Pub. L. 119-74 (January 23, 2026), for necessary expenses associated with the restoration of Pacific salmon populations. The Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund (PCSRF) program makes such funding available to the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Alaska, and federally recognized tribes of the Columbia River and Pacific Coast (including Alaska) for projects necessary for the conservation of salmon and steelhead populations listed as threatened or endangered, or identified by a State as at-risk to be so-listed; for maintaining populations necessary for exercise of tribal treaty fishing rights or native subsistence fishing; or for the conservation of Pacific coastal salmon and steelhead habitat. The Community Connect Grant Program provides financial assistance to eligible applicants that will provide service at or above the Broadband Grant Speed (100 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up) to all premises in rural, economically-challenged communities where broadband service (10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up) does not exist. The deployment of broadband services on a “community-oriented connectivity” basis stimulates economic development and provides enhanced educational and health care opportunities in rural areas.
