The purpose of the NIA Career Transition Award (CTA) is to facilitate the transition of mentored researchers to tenure-track faculty conducting research that advances the mission of NIA. This three-year award provides protected time through salary and research support and is targeted at applicants who plan to start a tenure-track faculty position within a year of the award.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development"s Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) expects to release a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Mass Market Solutions for Leveraging Robotics and AI Technologies for Home Construction Demonstration. This anticipated NOFO is intended to fund demonstration projects that test and scale the use of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence in factory-built housing to help build homes faster, at lower cost, and in ways that can meaningfully increase housing supply.Awards are expected to be made as cooperative agreements, which means HUD will be actively involved throughout the project period. PD&R will provide technical guidance and oversight to help ensure projects are well designed, aligned with program goals, and able to generate lessons that can be applied more broadly across the housing industry.HUD is especially interested in projects that use automation, robotics, or AI at specific stages of the factory-built housing process, whether onsite or offsite. The purpose of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part D program is to provide family-centered care in outpatient or ambulatory care settings to low-income women (25 years and older) with HIV, infants (up to 2 years of age) exposed to or with HIV, children (ages 2 to 12) with HIV, and youth (ages 13 to 24) with HIV. The RWHAP Part D funding is intended to improve access to coordinated and comprehensive HIV medical care and support services). The services often include case management, behavioral health, nutrition services, and referrals to specialty care. As the only component of the RWHAP that supports services for affected individuals not living with HIV, Part D may fund services when the primary purpose is to enable the affected individual to participate in the care of a person with HIV, to directly remove barriers to care for the person with HIV, or to promote family stability.

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The over-arching goal of this NINDS R25 program is to support educational activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nations biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to support new biomedical, behavioral, and social science investigators who are in the early stages of establishing independent careers in tobacco regulatory research. The R03 grant mechanism supports different types of projects, including pilot and feasibility studies, secondary analysis of existing data, small, self-contained research projects, development of research methodology, and development of new research technology. Applicants are encouraged to conduct projects that ultimately have the potential to inform regulations on tobacco product manufacturing, distribution, and marketing. Research projects must address one or more High-Priority Research Topic(s) related to the regulatory authority of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) as mandated by the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (FSPTCA), Public Law 111-31. The awards under this NOFO will be administered by NIH using funds made available through FDA CTP and the FSPTCA. Research results from this NOFO are expected to generate findings and data directly relevant to informing the FDA's regulation of the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products to protect public health.

Activities under this NOFO will focus on protecting and improving public health globally by: 1) strengthening public health laboratory systems; 2) improving public health laboratory workforce; 3) improving bio risk management; 4) reinforcing emergency laboratory preparedness in alignment with 7-1-7 outbreak response paradigm; 5) enhancing laboratory quality management systems and; 6) enhancing diagnostic capacity via rapid tests for low resource settings and genomic sequencing for pathogens of pandemic potential. The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to solicit applications for pilot projects to identify new druggable targets for pain within the understudied druggable proteome. Awards will support generation of preliminary data and/or tools around eligible understudied protein(s) listed in this NOFO. This NOFO is intended to jumpstart research on understudied proteins within the context of pain and pain management and provide applicants with sufficient funding to perform basic biochemical and/or biological work to further the characterization of understudied proteins to identify new druggable targets for pain. Many existing assistive and rehabilitation technologies lack adaptability, personalization, and seamless integration into daily life. AI and machine learning (ML) offer trans-formative potential to address these gaps by enabling smarter, more responsive, and individualized assistive and rehabilitation technologies. AI-driven innovations in assistive and rehabilitation technology can shift them from static tools to dynamic, intelligent systems that continuously learn and adapt in real time to individual preferences, needs, and changing abilities. This grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.
