The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Lifelong Learning is accepting applications for the Media Projects program. The purpose of this program is to support the development, production, and distribution of radio programs, podcasts, and documentary films that engage general audiences with humanities ideas in creative and appealing ways. NEH makes Media Projects awards at two levels: Development and Production.

The purpose of this program is to support humanities education through professional development for K-12 teachers and higher education faculty members.

The Office of Academic Exchange Programs, ECA, invites proposal submissions for the design and implementation of the FY 2026 Study of the U.S. Institutes Madeleine K. Albright Young Women Leaders Program (Albright SUSIs). The four Albright SUSIs will take place over five weeks in summer 2027. The Albright SUSIs will focus on one of two themes: 1) Economic Prosperity and Growth (two SUSIs) and 2) Governance and Security (two SUSIs). See details in section C. Program Description of the Notice of Funding Opportunity. The Albright SUSIs include four cohorts of approximately 20 foreign undergraduate students (men and women), between the ages of 18 and 25 (approximately 80 participants total). The Albright SUSIs will include an approximately four-week academic residency at a U.S. educational institution and an approximately one-week integrated academic field experience that will bring participants to a U.S. region distinct from their residency location. Each Albright SUSI should highlight American success and innovation in the themes outlined above. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) invite proposals for cooperative agreements to implement the FY 2026 FLEX Global high school exchange program. Applicants may apply for one or both of the following program components:   ·      Administrative Component: Manages overseas operations, recruitment and selection of inbound and outbound participants, travel, host family recruitment and placement for outbound participants (e.g., American students studying abroad), database and website management for all inbound and outbound participants, alumni activities for all inbound and outbound participants, program-wide events, and overall program coordination.  ·      Placement Component: Manages host family and school placement of inbound foreign participants in the U.S., regional “American Excellence” enhancement type activities, and ongoing monitoring and support.   FLEX Global builds on the 34-year legacy of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program and the 24-year legacy of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program, expanding participation beyond specific world regions. The program advances U.S. interests by cultivating a network of young leaders who understand and support U.S. culture and priorities, with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, civic engagement, and leadership.   Key Activities: ·      Up to 1,200 foreign high school participants will study in the U.S. for an academic year. ·      Up to 150 American high school participants will study abroad for an academic year. As noted above, this element of the program will be managed entirely....

The Fulbright Specialist Program will select approximately 400 American academics and professionals to countries worldwide for two-to-six week programming in FY 2027. Fulbright Specialists share their expertise, build and strengthen professional networks, and gain international experience through projects that support U.S. foreign policy priorities and strengthen institutional ties in education, innovation, and trade.   Specialist projects are requested by U.S. embassies and Fulbright Commissions abroad, in coordination with foreign institutions such as universities, teacher-training centers, cultural institutions, and government ministries. Specialists may include attorneys, business leaders, economists, etc., and they develop curricula, design or deliver symposia, conduct needs assessments, and consult on faculty or workforce needs. The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to grow a network of researchers that strengthens CDC"s use of influenza modeling and forecasting to provide situational awareness, inform influenza prevention and control efforts, advance the science of influenza forecasting and modeling, and enhance communication of related findings with key partners, including state, local, and non-governmental organizations. These efforts will inform strategies to mitigate influenza-related morbidity and mortality. This includes populations at higher risk of influenza or with lower uptake of or access to influenza prevention and control measures.

The purpose of PSSG is to improve postsecondary student outcomes, including retention, transfer, credit accumulation, and completion, by leveraging data and implementing, scaling, and rigorously evaluating evidence-based strategies.

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Gaborone announces an open competition for alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to submit project proposals for the 2026 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). This competition seeks projects that position sports as a sustainable driver of economic growth and social inclusion in Botswana. It supports U.S. foreign policy priorities by promoting excellence, investment, and shared prosperity through people-to-people engagement, aligned with the Freedom 250 initiative commemorating 250 years of American independence. The 2026 AEIF call for proposals aims to strengthen the governance, management, and sustainability of Botswana’s sports organizations; develop effective business models and fundraising strategies; enhance marketing, branding, and event management capacity; support athletes in preparing for post-sports careers; and foster international partnerships, especially with U.S. collegiate and professional teams. The intended program targets sports federation and club leaders, coaches, administrators, and young athletes across Botswana who seek to build professional skills and organizational capacity. Eligible applicants are alumni of U.S. government exchange programs with the experience and networks to lead impactful projects. Experience in sports or their administration is an added advantage. 

This funding program supports the operation of State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs) in the 50 states, 5 territories, 3 Freely Associated States, and District of Columbia within allowable program areas as described in the National Historic Preservation Act (54 U.S.C. 300101 et seq). Where relevant, staff and projects must comply with the appropriate Secretary of the Interior"s Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation.The purposes of this program are to provide matching grants to States for the identification, evaluation, and protection of historic properties by such means as: survey, planning, technical assistance, physical preservation, Federal tax incentives available for historic properties, nominations to the National Register of Historic Places, distribution of funding to Certified Local Governments, and to assist Federal, State, and Local Government agencies, nonprofit organizations and private individuals in carrying out historic preservation activities. The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs (EAP) and U.S. Consulate General Auckland announce an open competition to implement Young Pacific Leaders (YPL) Solutions Labs, a series of workshops centered around the following U.S. foreign policy priorities in the Pacific region: ·        Unlocking Investment in the Pacific ·        Advancing the American Decade of Sports for Pacific Economic Impact ·        Pursuing Peace in the Pacific with Faith Communities ·        Promoting Digital Freedom and Open Information Environments Applicants may apply to host one, more, or all of the YPL workshops in the series with the average cost of one workshop being roughly $100,000 to $250,000. Since 2013, the YPL program has cultivated the target audience and participants of emerging Pacific Island Country (PICs) leaders ages 20-40 into advocates for U.S. policy in a region of increasing strategic importance. Since YPL’s inception YPL alumni have delivered on U.S. priorities across the region. The YPL Solutions Labs will be a series throughout 2026-2028 to catalyze advocacy and action on U.S. priorities. The National Park Service"s (NPS) Semiquincentennial Grant Program will support the physical preservation of a broad variety of cultural resources associated with the founding of America as a nation in commemoration of the country's semiquincentennial (250th anniversary). These grants are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), administered by the NPS, and will fund physical preservation to properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places, including buildings, sites, structures, objects, or historic districts. Grants are awarded through a competitive process and do not require non-Federal match, though match may be considered as a competitive factor. The EnglishxSTEM initiative advances U.S. economic and technological interests by partnering with Dominican public and private sector stakeholders to deliver high-impact English for Specific Purposes (ESP) training in strategically relevant productive sectors. Implemented through collaboration with universities, INFOTEP, AIRD, CONEP, the National English Working Group, and other institutions, the initiative will strengthen workforce readiness and support U.S.-Dominican collaboration in STEM, semiconductors, cybersecurity, biotechnology, energy, artificial intelligence, and research and innovation. Over a three-year period, the proposed $100, 000 program will design and implement at least five ESP programs reaching approximately 500–800 Dominican students, faculty, and professionals nationwide. PHMSA seeks to fund nonprofit organizations with the ability to conduct training programs for HAZMAT employees, and the ability to reach and involve a target population of HAZMAT employees in a training program. Properly planned and maintained training programs are essential for HAZMAT employees to ensure: (1) HAZMAT employees receive initial and continuing training on the risks involved in transporting HAZMAT; (2) the relevant training requirements in the Hazardous Materials Regulation (HMR) are met; and (3) HAZMAT employees will be equipped to ensure their safety and the safety of others.

The U.S. Department of State’s Public Affairs Section (PAS) at U.S. Embassy Manama announces an open competition to support programs that advance high-tech research and innovation under the Comprehensive Strategic Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) between the United States, Bahrain, and the United Kingdom. C-SIPA strengthens trilateral cooperation under three pillars: 1) defense and security; 2) economic, commercial, and trade; and 3) science, technology, and network security. This initiative contributes to broader U.S. efforts to reinforce national security, expand economic opportunity, and promote trusted technology partnerships. The U.S. Creative Tech Exchange (U.S.CTX) is a new international arts exchange program that drives economic growth by connecting U.S. creative professionals and technologists with international peers working at the intersection of the arts and emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI).  The goal is to position American technology as a key driver of American innovation, economic, and cultural influence in art and technology, For the purposes of this program, “arts” refers specifically to architecture, creative coding and gaming, fashion, graphic design, music and immersive art such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR); but excludes film and television.   U.S.CTX will support up to 30 participants through short-term, hands-on activities such as collaborative labs, fellowships, workshops, and public showcases.     ECA will award one U.S.-based nonprofit or educational organization $1.32 million to design and implement the program in close coordination with ECA and U.S. embassies. Applicants should propose a concept that leverages their strengths and includes clear plans for recruitment, program delivery, and measurable outcomes in creative arts, economic impact, and public diplomacy. The goal of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative is to target the most significant environmental problems in the Great Lakes ecosystem by funding and implementing projects that address these problems. As part of this initiative, the two bird habitat joint ventures that operate in the Great Lakes watershed – the Upper Mississippi / Great Lakes Joint Venture and the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture – will work with the Office of Conservation Investment program in the Midwest and Northeast Regions of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to competitively fund partner projects for long-term habitat protection, restoration, or enhancement, to conserve habitats that support native Great Lakes fish and wildlife populations, particularly migratory birds.
