The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Algiers is launching a competitive program to catalyze innovation and commerce between the United States and Algeria and advance key U.S. foreign policy priorities. The initiative aims to strengthen commercial ties, expand market access for American companies, and promote American business models and technology, particularly in entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence as well as English language development[MS1.1]. Target audiences include Algerian students and young leaders (ages 18-35), entrepreneurs, and mid-career professionals, with a focus on building partnerships between U.S. and Algerian institutions and improving knowledge relevant to U.S. business and technology standards. The Embassy may play an active role in guiding and monitoring the program, while recipients will manage implementation and outreach. Competitive proposals should support a priority program area (see below) and should include a connection with American expert/s, organization/s, institution/s or private sector companies that will promote increased cooperation between the people of the United States and Algeria even after the program has finished.

The National Park Service"s (NPS) History of Equal Rights Grant Program (HER) will preserve sites related to the struggle of all Americans to achieve equal rights. HER grants are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), administered by the NPS, and will fund a broad range of preservation projects for historic sites including: architectural services, historic structure reports, preservation plans, and physical preservation to structures. Grants are awarded through a competitive process and do not require non-Federal match.

Cooperative agreements under the ADPI funding Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), are intended to support and promote the development and expansion of dementia-capable home and community-based service (HCBS) systems in States and Communities. There are two application options contained in this single NOFO: Grants to States (Option A) and Grants to Communities (Option B). No entity is eligible to apply for both State and Community options and no entity is eligible to hold more than one ADPI grant at a time. The purpose of the Assistive Technology (AT) Alternative Financing Program (AFP) is to support programs that provide for the purchase of AT, such as a low-interest loan fund, an interest buy-down program, a revolving loan fund, a loan guarantee, or an insurance program, that results in the acquisition of AT devices and services. Applicants for the AT AFP grant awards are required to provide an assurance that, and information describing the manner in which, the AT AFP will expand and emphasize consumer choice and control. Applicants should incorporate credit-building activities in their programs, including financial education and information about other possible funding sources. Successful applicants must emphasize consumer choice and control and build programs that will provide financing for the full array of AT devices and services and ensure that all people with disabilities, regardless of type of disability or health condition, age, level of income, and residence, have access to the program.

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 National Mass Violence Center. This opportunity supports the continued operation of the National Mass Violence Center (NMVC) in preparing for and responding to mass violence incidents; providing services, training, and education; and developing best practices, tools, and strategies to support mass violence victims. The NMVC supports communities experiencing mass violence, including in-person and virtual support for law enforcement and other first responders, survivors, and families. These include assistance implementing victim services (including mental health care and other emergency supports); creating recovery centers; and helping jurisdictions prepare to respond to victims of these incidents. Planning allows stakeholders (e.g., first responders, emergency managers, health professionals, victim services providers, government representatives, faith leaders) to build on and enhance existing emergency response plans to ensure the needs of victims, families, and first responders are addressed after these incidents. NMVC activities emphasize behavioral health—including mental health—and resiliency in response to mass violence incidents and the integration of victims’ needs into existing emergency response plans.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Coral Reef Conservation Program provides financial assistance through the Ruth D. Gates Coral Reef Conservation Grants - Fishery Management competition for projects to sustainably manage coral reef fisheries, as authorized under the Coral Reef Conservation Act, 16 U.S.C. § 6410. Projects funded through this competition are for activities that: 1) Develop or update sustainable coral reef fisheries management plans; 2) Address science/information gaps that help advance sustainable management of coral reef fisheries stocks; 3) Advance ecosystem-based fisheries management by modernizing analysis of existing data and application of fisheries management tools. Proposals selected for funding through this solicitation will be implemented through one- to three-year grants or cooperative agreements. Approximately $1,000,000 is expected to be available for this competition. The NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program anticipates that awards will range from $50,000-$200,000. The Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC) Initiative Round 7 is a partnership between the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and three regional commissions–the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), the Delta Regional Authority (DRA), and the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC). CoC Builds provides funding for construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation of new units of PSH for individuals and families experiencing homelessness where one member of the household has a disability. Most of the requested funding must be for new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation to create new units of permanent supportive housing. The Global Leaders Division in the Office of Citizen Exchanges at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) seeks proposals for a cooperative agreement to design and implement the FY 2026 Community Solutions Program (CSP). The United States has a strong tradition of hard work, entrepreneurship, and local leadership that has powered economic growth. American communities succeed by building on what they do best — innovating, strengthening key industries, and coordinating business, workforce, and community leadership to deliver results. CSP invests in American and international community leaders interested in learning from proven U.S. approaches to regional economic growth. It will engage leaders, ages 27–39, who will work alongside American partners to understand how regional industry clusters and locally driven strategies expand opportunities that benefit the American people. During a three- to four-month exchange in the United States, approximately 50–60 participants will work directly with American counterparts on real-world economic growth initiatives across key sectors such as: culinary industries/farm-to-table; business and entrepreneurship; hospitality and tourism; technology and innovation, and others as proposed. The Rural Grant Program helps states and territories, Indian Tribes, local governments, and nonprofits to enhance safety and justice for child, youth, and adult victims in rural communities. It funds victim services (such as advocacy, legal assistance, and shelter), investigation, prosecution, adjudication, parole and probation, and other ways of addressing domestic and sexual violence. Per 34 U.S.C. § 12341(a), these grants are meant to encourage collaboration, establish and expand nonprofit victim services, increase safety and well-being for women and children in rural communities, and ensure victims in rural areas have access to sexual assault medical forensic exams.

On October 20, 2020, Congress enacted the Native American Business Incubators Program Act, Pub. L. 116-174, codified at 25 U.S.C. 5801 et seq. In the Act, Congress established the Native American Business Incubators Program and required the Secretary of the Interior to promulgate regulations to implement the program. See 25 U.S.C. 5804.The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Office of the Assistant Secretary–Indian Affairs, through the Office of Indian Economic Development (OIED), solicits proposals from eligible entities (see Eligibility Section) for grant funding from established Business Incubators to serve Native entrepreneurs with start-up, early-stage, and established businesses who will provide products or services to Tribal reservation communities. The purpose of this funding announcement is to demonstrate and evaluate the scalability of person-centered and evidence-based approaches to falls prevention that leverage clinical and community partnerships and related data and technology tools. ACL intends to award a single cooperative agreement to one grantee for a three-year project period with the expectation that the grantee will fund up to three demonstrations. This award will build on the ACL Innovation Lab to demonstrate the scaling of person-centered and evidence-based approaches to falls prevention and related chronic disease management programs through community care hubs and their respective clinical partners and community-based organizations in the aging services network. The successful applicant will be expected to collaborate with ACL in the design and implementation of these demonstrations in the scalability of falls prevention and related chronic disease management interventions through approximately three advanced community care hubs that support care transitions and screening for the risk of falls. They should also have the capacity to 1) do rapid cycle evaluation to iterate and improve the impact of the interventions as they are scaled and, 2) administer sub-awards to community care hubs that can implement and scale person-centered interventions enabled by artificial intelligence, data analytics, assistive technology, virtual delivery of interventions, tools to support consumer behaviors, and related data infrastructure.

The primary goal of the Native American Resource Center (NARC) will be to enhance the knowledge about older adults in American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiin (AI/AN/NH), community, thereby increase and improve the delivery of services to elders. The NARC will focus on the development and provision of technical information. The NARC's will have a national focus and direct its resource to one or more of the primary concerns in their application which includes health issues, long term care, including in-home care; elder abuse; and other problems and issues facing AI, AN and NH older populations. The NARC's objective will be to 1) gather information, 2) performance research, and 3) provide dissemination of results of research and provide technical assistance and training, to entities that provide services to the targeted older adult population in the AI, AN, and NH communities. Applicants should include anticipated program outcomes, how the outcomes will be measured, and the overall success of the program/activities and how they will be determined.

Malaysia-wide outreach with physical advising centers in the Klang Valley, Penang, and East Malaysia. The Public Diplomacy Section at the United States Embassy in Malaysia announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to promote U.S. higher education opportunities for Malaysian students at the graduate and undergraduate levels. This project includes maintaining physical presences of at least three EducationUSA advising centers manned by trained EducationUSA advisors that will serve as the primary resource for accurate, comprehensive, and current information about studying in the United States. The Legal Assistance for Victims Grant Program increases access to legal assistance for victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking who are seeking relief in legal matters relating to or arising out of that abuse or violence. It funds projects that provide comprehensive legal assistance, as defined in 34 U.S.C. § 12291(a)(24). The projects must include organizations that have a mission and history of providing direct services to victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Ottawa announces an open competition to implement a program to connect U.S. citizen talent, including subject matter experts, artists and cultural professionals, and current and former American athletes and coaches, with Canadian audiences and institutions on topics of strategic importance to the United States. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announces up to $10 million to support a National Fund Manager (NFM) to design and manage a Lead-Safe and Healthy Homes Financing Demonstration (the Fund). The Fund will be a national platform to pool public and private capital to accelerate the reduction of residential lead exposure, particularly childhood lead poisoning, and improve housing-related health conditions in low-income communities ("lead-safe and healthy homes activities").While HUD and EPA programs have addressed lead and other environmental hazards in many homes, progress remains slow relative to the scale of need. For example, since 1993, HUD has remediated lead hazards in over 230,000 low-income housing units, but tens of millions of U.S. households continue to face risk from lead and additional residential environmental stressors. Expanding access to private capital alongside public funding is critical to increasing the pace and scale of remediation.Traditional home repair financing remains difficult to access due to strict underwriting, high denial rates, and lender risk concerns, leaving many older homes in disrepair. This grant is funded under the Projects of National Significance (PNS) authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act. Its purpose is to increase awareness, access, and use of ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) accounts so that individuals with disabilities have the resources needed to better support their health and economic well-being and improve their economic security and mobility. Since 2015, the ABLE Act has authorized states and territories to establish tax-advantaged programs—ABLE accounts—that allow individuals with disabilities to save and invest money. These accounts may be used for qualified disability expenses, including education, food, housing, transportation, employment training, assistive technology, and health care. Beginning in January 2026, ABLE eligibility requirements were expanded to include individuals with an age of disability onset up to 46, increased from the previous limit of 26. As a result, an estimated 14 million people will be eligible for ABLE accounts, including approximately 1.2 million veterans. This expansion presents a significant opportunity to broaden outreach to individuals receiving Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), as well as individuals with disabilities who are not enrolled in disability benefit programs, to help overcome barriers to achieving good health and meaningful employment.
