The MCH Workforce Development and Training Center provides training, technical assistance, and workforce development opportunities to strengthen the current and future maternal and child (MCH) workforce. The Center equips state Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant Program (Title V) leaders, staff, and other MCH professionals with the skills and tools to address MCH needs in their communities and advance outcomes nationwide.

The Telehealth Centers of Excellence program will support academic medical centers in implementing and evaluating innovative telehealth solutions in rural and underserved communities. These centers will serve as national models by testing concepts and creating proven approaches that expand access to care and improve health outcomes and can be replicated nationally.

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OJP FY 2026 Special Attorneys Program. This program will support state, local, Tribal, and territorial prosecuting agencies to assign or hire qualified prosecutors to serve full-time or part-time (on a case-by-case basis) as Special Attorneys under the direction of the National Fraud Enforcement Division or the Criminal Division, or to serve as Special Assistant United States Attorneys (SAUSAs) within a United States Attorney’s Office. These “cross-designated” prosecutors will remain employees of their home agencies but will investigate and prosecute assigned fraud and other crimes committed by aliens within the United States (hereafter referred to as “criminal aliens”) for the duration of their appointment under this program. Cross-designated prosecutors may also be assigned cases involving drug or human trafficking committed within the United States. The National Fraud Enforcement Division, Criminal Division, and United States Attorney’s Offices will coordinate with selected prosecutor offices on a case-by-case basis to address logistics and any unique local circumstances. ​​The Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) program helps improve mental and behavioral health for children and youth by giving pediatric primary care providers quick access to tele-consultation, training, and care coordination support.

The purpose of the Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) Center Program is to reduce illness and death related to HHT by partnering with clinical center to expand access and coordination of care; creating innovative strategies that support clinicians with identifying and diagnosing HHT cases; and developing a de-identified, aggregate patient data registry to better understand this rare disease and its treatment outcomes.

The Emergency Medical Services for Children National Pediatric Readiness Coordinating Center (EMSC NPRCC) demonstration program will work to assess and expand "Pediatric Readiness" in hospital emergency departments (ED) and pre-hospital emergency medical services (EMS) systems. Because children have unique physiological, emotional, and developmental characteristics, specialized emergency care is needed. Pediatric Readiness ensures that every EMS and fire-rescue agency and ED has the pediatric-specific leadership, competencies, policies, equipment, and other resources needed to provide high-quality emergency care for children, no matter where they live, attend school, or travel in the United States.

The 811 PRA program promotes the development of innovative state-level strategies to increase access to new and existing affordable supportive housing units for persons with disabilities. The program also supports collaborations between State Housing Agencies and State Health and Human Service/Medicaid Agencies to increase access to supportive services. Many states have already formed partnerships to address this need, and HUD intends to further support these efforts while incentivizing other states to take similar approaches.This program gives states the flexibility to award and administer these funds to address the shortage of affordable and integrated housing for persons with disabilities. Housing agencies may either directly administer the rental assistance contracts for eligible properties or contract with other qualified parties to administer this assistance.

The purpose of this NOFO is to strengthen public health capacity of 1) Tribal Epidemiology Centers (TECs) and 2) the Tribes, Tribal Organizations, Urban Indian organizations, and Intertribal Consortiums that they support to fulfill the seven functions of TECs as outlined in the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA) at 25 U.S.C. 1621m(b). It is the intent of IHS to fund sufficient TECs to serve Tribes and Urban Indian communities in all 12 IHS administrative areas and serving the Urban population as a consolidated Area. Applicant objectives may include activities beyond the required activities but must address all required activities.

The Automated Permitting Systems Demonstration NOFO is intended to support jurisdictions that will deploy automated building code permitting systems and partner with HUD to evaluate their applicability and effectiveness within real-world operating conditions. This demonstration will test the real-world deployment of an automated permitting platform within a government permitting environment to evaluate its effects on processing timelines, workflow efficiency, staff roles, and applicant experience. The demonstration will generate empirical evidence on operational performance, costs, governance needs, and potential cost savings to inform broader adoption by state and local jurisdictions.

This NOFO has been modified to update language in the optional documents for bonus points, and bonus point criteria sections.As child welfare agencies increasingly use data to inform practice, targeted implementation, analytic support, and information sharing are needed to ensure the responsible use of predictive analytics. This funding opportunity supports child welfare jurisdictions in serving as demonstration sites for the effective use and future replication of predictive analytics at the national level.Grantees will focus on meeting the following objectives: Designing, implementing, and testing predictive analytics strategies, Building and sustaining agency capacity, Participating in collaboration and shared learning, Evaluating training and technical assistance activities.

This NOFO seeks applications for payments under the statutorily required State Criminal Alien Assistance Program (SCAAP) to eligible “states” and “units of local government” that incurred certain types of costs due to “incarceration” of “undocumented criminal aliens” during the July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, reporting period. OJP is committed to advancing work that furthers DOJ’s mission to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe, and to protect civil rights. OJP provides federal leadership, funding, and other critical resources to directly support law enforcement, combat violent crime, protect American children, provide services to American crime victims, and address public safety challenges, including human trafficking and the opioid crisis.

This program reimburses Tribal governments for expenses incurred in exercising “Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction” (STCJ) over non-Indians who commit certain covered crimes (assault of Tribal justice personnel; child, dating, sexual and/or domestic violence; obstruction of justice; sex trafficking; stalking; and protection order violations) in Indian country pursuant to 25 U.S.C. § 1304 (or in Alaska Native Villages pursuant to a DOJ pilot program established by 25 U.S.C. § 1305(d)).

This program, authorized under the BIDEN Reimbursement Fund established by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Public Law 119-21, Title X, Subtitle A, Part II (codified at 34 U.S.C. § 61101), provides funding for grants to eligible States, State agencies, and units of local government and tribal governments, pursuant to their existing statutory authorities to support the seven statutory purposes outlined in 34 U.S.C. § 61101: 1. Locating and apprehending aliens who have committed a crime under federal, state, or local law, in addition to being unlawfully present in the United States (hereafter referred to as “criminal illegal aliens”). 2. Collection and analysis of law enforcement investigative information within the United States to counter gang or other criminal activity. 3. Investigating and prosecuting (a) crimes committed by aliens within the United States; and (b) drug and human trafficking crimes committed within the United States. 4. Court operations related to the prosecution of (a) crimes committed by aliens; and (b) drug and human trafficking crimes. 5. Temporary criminal detention of aliens. 6. The MMHSUD Program helps improve maternal mental health and substance use disorder outcomes for pregnant and postpartum women by providing obstetric, primary care, and other maternal health providers with timely access to teleconsultation, training, and care coordination support including resource and referrals.

The purpose of the 988 Tribal response program is to improve connection and response to 988 contacts (including calls, chats, and texts) originating in Tribal communities and/or activated by American Indians/Alaska Natives. American Indian and Alaska Native communities experience a significantly higher suicide risk compared to the general population. CDC reports that in 2022 non-Hispanic Al/AN people had a suicide rate 91% greater than the general population.

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to implement the demonstration authority in Section 373(i) of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended (OAA). Successful grantees will use the framework provided by the 2022 National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers (the Strategy) as the basis for their proposed projects. Under this NOFO, ACL is interested in supporting state implementation of the principles, recommendations and actions as stated in the Strategy. Grantees will be expected to develop a range of cross-agency partnerships at the state level to identify which of the Strategy's goals, recommendations and stated actions they wish to address on a statewide basis. Up to, but not to exceed, the first six months of their projects, grantees will be permitted to undertake a period of planning and coordination with project partners. At the end of the planning period, grantees must submit a sustainability plan detailing how project activities and accomplishments will be maintained and continued following the period of federal funding. During the remainder of their two-year projects, grantees will focus on implementation and execution of their proposals.

ACL is seeking applications from eligible state agencies that will advance the provision of respite services through their statewide Lifespan Respite Care system as outlined in the Act. There are two application options for states contained in this single Notice of Funding Opportunity. State Applicants for Option A (Grants to New States and States Re-Establishing Their Core Respite Infrastructures): This opportunity is for states who have never had a grant, OR who had a grant before, but the program has stopped, and they wish to start it up again. State Applicants for Option B (State Program Enhancement Grants): This opportunity is intended for states that have had at least one grant in the past and/or wish to continue building and expanding upon their programmatic activities to enhance and expand the availability of lifespan respite services. Grantees will collaborate with state respite organizations and coalitions to enhance and expand the availability of lifespan respite services. The goal of the program is to enhance state systems and capacities to deliver respite care and related services to family caregivers of children and adults across all age groups, disabilities, and chronic conditions.

Cooperative agreements under this Alzheimer"s Disease Programs Initiative (ADPI) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) are intended to support and promote the development and implementation of dementia-capable home and community-based service (HCBS) systems in Indian Country. The Dementia Capability in Indian Country program is intended to support federally recognized tribes, tribal organizations and/or consortiums representing federally recognized tribes in these targeted activities. The dementia-capable systems resulting from activities under this program are expected to provide quality, strengths-based services and supports that help people living with dementia and their caregivers remain independent and safe in their communities. There are two application options contained in this single NOFO: Grants to Tribes and Tribal Entities that have previously received ADPI grants (Option A) and Grants to Tribes and Tribal Entities that are new to the ADPI program (Option B). Applicants for the 36-month Dementia in Indian Country cooperative agreement are those entities that are presently responsible for the provision of and actively providing home and community services in tribal communities (i.e. tribes, tribal organizations and/or consortiums representing federally recognized tribes). Cooperative agreements under the Alzheimer"s Disease Programs Initiative (ADPI)- State Programs for Dementia-Specific Respite Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to expand and strengthen additional supports for family caregivers by providing dementia-specific respite services delivered through the National Aging Services Network (State Units on Aging (SUA), Area Agencies on Aging (AAA), and aging network service providers). The program is designed to provide respite relief in support of unpaid family caregivers of people with a probable diagnosis of Alzheimer"s disease or related dementia (ADRD) who need access or additional access to respite care or related services. The primary goal is to reduce caregiver burden and delay institutionalization of people with a probable diagnosis of ADRD through the availability and delivery of dementia-specific respite services. Through this demonstration grant opportunity, states will partner with Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) to coordinate and provide respite services for caregivers with a focus on dementia-specific respite services comparable to existing services provided under the Older Americans Act (OAA). The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the FY 26 Tribal Resources Grant Program – Technical Assistance (TRGP-TA) - Invitational program. This opportunity seeks to fund a Village Public Safety Officer training academy and continue funding for the Tribal Community Response Plans (TCRP). TRGP-TA funds are used to develop the capacity of law enforcement to implement community policing through common sense policing strategies, which is a priority of this Administration. Through the TRGP-TA program, the Department of Justice supports this priority by providing information on promising and effective practices, developing and test innovative strategies, and supporting new, creative approaches to preventing crime to address Administration priority areas.

The CAP-SSSE program provides funding to ensure adoption and enforcement of standards consistent with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) minimum criteria in participating and flood-prone communities. This cooperative agreement strives to empower states and territories to own and effectively manage their flood risk and reduce exposure, disaster costs, and recovery demands by providing planning flexibility, tools and best practices, and FEMA expertise to support implementation of their NFIP programs. This cooperative agreement funds NFIP Coordinating Agencies to conduct specific activities in support of NFIP administration and enables independent investment to build capacity and capability in line with the provisions set forth in 44 C.F.R. § 60.25.

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to provide continuing support for specific pathogen-free (SPF) macaque colonies previously funded under the auspices of PAR-21-089 and PAR-18-669 that support Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) research. Breeding colonies are essential to sustain appropriate SPF macaques for research related to HIV/AIDS. Pedigree SPF macaques are free of certain viruses, which may confound the results of HIV/AIDS-related investigations or present a risk to the personnel who care for the animals. The SPF macaques are genetically characterized for major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I types, because MHC class I genotypes have large effects on macaque immune responses to Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) that can induce AIDS in nonhuman primates (NHPs) and on human immune responses to HIV.
