As President Trump said in his Executive Order on Removing Regulatory Barriers to Affordable Home Construction (March 13, 2026), The American dream of homeownership depends on a dynamic housing market in which a varied inventory of new homes is built and renovated each year. Layers of unnecessary regulatory barriers, slow permitting processes, and onerous mandates at all levels of government have delayed construction, restricted development, and driven up the costs of new housing. These constraints have made housing less affordable for many Americans.It is the policy of my Administration to reduce regulatory barriers to building homes and to steward taxpayer dollars in a manner that promotes housing affordability.HUD's PRO Housing program rewards communities that have taken steps to remove regulatory barriers to building and preserving homes by providing funding to further expand affordable housing, particularly homeownership opportunities and housing located in Opportunity Zones and rural communities.HUD is issuing this Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) PRO Housing NOFO under the authority of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026, which provided $50 million for competitive grant funding for state and local governments, metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), and multijurisdictional entities. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the FY26 School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP). This funding opportunity seeks to provide competitive funding directly to states, units of local government, Indian tribes, and their public agencies to improve security at schools and on school grounds in the recipient’s jurisdiction through evidence-based school safety programs. The COPS Office anticipates that up to $73,000,000 will be available for up to $500,000 per award, with approximately 200 awards anticipated. TRGP-TA funds are used to develop the capacity of law enforcement to implement community policing through common sense policing strategies, which is a priority of this Administration. The purpose of theNative American Research Centers for Health (NARCH) program is to fund federally-recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes and tribal organizations to support health-related research, research career enhancement, and research infrastructure enhancement activities.

The Secretary of Labor, through MSHA, may award grants to State, Tribal, and Territorial Governments (including the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) to assist them in developing and enforcing State mining laws and regulations, improve State workers’ compensation and mining occupational disease laws and programs, and improve safety and health conditions in the nation’s mines through Federal-State coordination and cooperation.   MSHA encourages State training programs to prioritize health and safety training for new and small mining operations. The OVW Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction (STCJ) Grant Program supports Tribal governments in preparing to exercise or exercising STCJ over non-Indians who commit covered crimes within the Tribe’s jurisdictional boundaries. Covered crimes are assault of Tribal justice personnel; child violence; dating violence; domestic violence; obstruction of justice; sexual violence; sex trafficking; stalking; and violation of a protection order.

Tribal Wildlife Grants provide technical and financial assistance to federally recognized Tribes for the development and implementation of programs that benefit fish and wildlife and their habitats. Funding may be used for conserving any plant or animal species of interest to a Tribe, including those of Native American cultural or traditional importance. The grants are an adaptable resource supporting tribal conservation priorities. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the opportunity to apply for $18,954,885 in competitive grants for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Public Transportation on Indian Reservations (Tribal Transit) Competitive Program under Assistance Listing Number 20.509.

This program supports efforts by States, Indian Tribes, and units of local government to prevent, enforce, and prosecute cybercrimes against individuals. Cybercrimes against individuals are defined as criminal offenses that involve the use of a computer to harass, threaten, stalk, extort, coerce, cause fear to, or intimidate an individual, or without consent distribute intimate images of an adult, except that use of a computer need not be an element of the offense.

The Grants to Indian Tribal Governments Program assists Tribal governments (or their authorized designees) in strengthening the criminal justice response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and stalking in Tribal communities.

The Tribal Sexual Assault Services Program (TSASP) assists Indian Tribes, Tribal organizations, and nonprofit Tribal organizations in providing “intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services, and related assistance for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, family and household members of such victims, and those collaterally affected by the victimization, except for the perpetrator of such victimization.”

The Medical Student Education (MSE) Program provides support to public medical schools in the top quartile of states with a projected primary care provider shortage to expand or support education for medical students preparing to become physicians.

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to provide continuing support for specific pathogen-free (SPF) macaque colonies previously funded under the auspices of PAR-21-089 and PAR-18-669 that support Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) research. Breeding colonies are essential to sustain appropriate SPF macaques for research related to HIV/AIDS. The SPF macaques are genetically characterized for major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I types, because MHC class I genotypes have large effects on macaque immune responses to Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) that can induce AIDS in nonhuman primates (NHPs) and on human immune responses to HIV.

The purpose of the High Impact Specialized Innovation Programs (SIPs) is to support the development and demonstration of unique hub capabilities, research platforms and/or resources to address in a timely manner critical gap areas and/or roadblocks in clinical and translational science at awarded UM1 Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program Hubs (PAR-24-272).
