Program Description: The purpose of the Educational Technology, Media, and Materials for Individuals with Disabilities Program is to improve results for children with disabilities by (1) promoting the development, demonstration, and use of technology; (2) supporting educational activities designed to be of educational value in the classroom for students with disabilities; (3) providing support for captioning and video description that is appropriate for use in the classroom; and (4) providing accessible educational materials to students with disabilities in a timely manner. This competition establishes Accessible Education Video Projects that are designed to meet requirements under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Specifically, section 674(c) of IDEA requires, in part, that the Secretary of Education support audio description, open captioning, and closed captioning that is appropriate for use in early learning and kindergarten through grade 12 (K-12) settings of (a) television programs; (b) videos; or (c) other materials, including programs and materials associated with new and emerging technologies. The purpose of ODF, under assistance listing 10.233, is to build frameworks to create neutral and secure data repositories and cooperatives where producers, universities and nonprofit entities can store and share data in ways that will foster agricultural innovation, support technological progress, profitability, and increase production efficiencies. The program prioritizes frameworks that address farm and ranch profitability, new markets and uses for agricultural products, invasive species, soil health to regenerate long-term productivity, or improving human health through precision nutrient and food quality. 

The purpose of this notice is to solicit applications for two funding categories: (1) Planning and (2) Bridge Project grants (a project with total eligible costs not greater than $100 million) for awards under the Bridge Investment Program (BIP). The primary goal and objective of the Methyl Bromide Transition program is to support the discovery and implementation of practical pest management alternatives to methyl bromide. The MBT program seeks to solve pest problems in key agricultural production and post-harvest management systems, processing facilities, and transport systems for which methyl bromide has been withdrawn or withdrawal is imminent.

NOAA announces the availability of Federal funding, authorized pursuant to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. The Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund (PCSRF) program makes such funding available to the States of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Alaska, and federally recognized tribes of the Columbia River and Pacific Coast (including Alaska) for projects necessary for the conservation of salmon and steelhead populations listed as threatened or endangered, or identified by a State as at-risk to be so-listed; for maintaining populations necessary for exercise of tribal treaty fishing rights or native subsistence fishing; or for the conservation of Pacific coastal salmon and steelhead habitat. The primary purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of Muskellunge stocking effectiveness and efficiency within Iowa's lakes and reservoirs, including those managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This research directly addresses the USACE's interest in optimizing the management of recreational fisheries within their projects. By identifying and refining Muskellunge culture methods and stocking policies, this study aims to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of state agency stocking programs, ensuring that valuable resources are utilized to maximize angler success. The comprehensive understanding of Muskellunge survival, movement, and habitat use gained from this study will directly inform optimized stocking strategies, leading to more robust and sustainable Muskellunge populations. This, in turn, is anticipated to increase angler success rates and overall recreational satisfaction, thereby enhancing the economic and social benefits derived from recreational fishing on USACE reservoirs and similar water bodies across the state and potentially nationwide. The Archaeology Program supports anthropologically relevant archaeological research to increase understanding of past behaviors. This means that the value of the proposed research can be justified within an anthropological context. It is the responsibility of the investigator to explain convincingly why the focus of their research is significant and has the potential to contribute to anthropological knowledge. The program sets no priorities by either geographic region or time period. It also has no priorities in regard to theoretical orientation or question. While the program, in order to encourage innovative research, neither limits nor defines specific categories of research, most proposals either request funds for field research or the analysis of archaeological material through multiple approaches.

Program Description: The purposes of the Personnel Development to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities program are to (1) help address State-identified shortages and needs for personnel preparation in special education and early intervention, including infants and toddlers, and youth with disabilities; and (2) ensure that those personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge, derived from practices that have been determined through scientifically based research, to be successful in serving those children. The purpose of the Personnel Preparation of Special Education, Early Intervention, and Related Services Personnel (84.325K) competition is to prepare and increase the number of personnel who have the necessary qualifications to serve children with disabilities. A.   The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) invites proposals for a project to conduct a comprehensive uncertainty analysis for new outflow rating equations associated with a critical water control structure on Lake Superior. The primary focus of this funding opportunity is to enhance the accuracy and reliability of discharge measurements, which are fundamental to the effective management of the Great Lakes system under the Lake Superior Regulation Plan. The base task, along with both options, are all tasks that are related to improving Lake Superior outflow regulation. However, these tasks are not interdependent. The base, option 1 and option 2, are simply a priority given to these tasks if funding should be available. Task 1: Current operational procedures for the structure’s gates include partially open settings that are not accounted for in historical rating equations. To address this, new rating equations are currently under development by a team at the University of Michigan using advanced physical and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception. Applications must address the challenge in a way that can lead to a breakthrough and have major impact. The FY26 Breakthrough Award mechanism contains four different funding levels designed to support major (but not all) stages of research that will lead to clinical application.
