The goal of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative is to target the most significant environmental problems in the Great Lakes ecosystem by funding and implementing projects that address these problems. As part of this initiative, the two bird habitat joint ventures that operate in the Great Lakes watershed – the Upper Mississippi / Great Lakes Joint Venture and the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture – will work with the Office of Conservation Investment program in the Midwest and Northeast Regions of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to competitively fund partner projects for long-term habitat protection, restoration, or enhancement, to conserve habitats that support native Great Lakes fish and wildlife populations, particularly migratory birds. Purpose: The Rural Capacity Building program enhances the capacity and ability of rural housing development organizations, Community Development Corporations (CDCs), Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs), rural local governments, and Indian tribes (eligible beneficiaries) to carry out affordable housing and community development activities in rural areas for the benefit of low- and moderate-income families and persons. The purpose of the CPPM program (Assistance Listing 10.329) is to provide funding for integrated, multifunctional agricultural research, Extension, and education activities. The goals and objectives of CPPM are to address high-priority issues related to pests, including insects, nematodes, pathogens, weeds, and other pests, and their management using IPM approaches at the state, regional, and national levels. The CPPM program supports projects that will ensure sufficient food production increase producer profitability, and respond effectively to other pest management challenges with comprehensive IPM approaches. Priority is given to proposals that address management of invasive species. The CPPM program also addresses IPM challenges for existing pest concerns that can be addressed more effectively with new and emerging technologies. The outcomes of the CPPM program are IPM practices and strategies needed to maintain agricultural profitability.

The Women's Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, or the Department, or we), announces the availability of approximately $10,000,000 in grant funds authorized by the Women in Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Occupations ("WANTO") Act of 1992, Pub. L. 102-530, 29 U.S.C. § 2501 et seq.; 29 U.S.C. § 13; and the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 for the WANTO Technical Assistance Grant Program. This program aims to provide technical assistance (TA) to employers and labor unions in the United States and its territories to encourage employment of women in apprenticeable occupations or nontraditional occupations (A/NTO), such as Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information Technology (IT), mining, and Shipbuilding and Defense Industrial Base, specifically in the following ways: 1.) Developing (establishing, expanding, and/or enhancing) pre-apprenticeships that lead to Registered Apprenticeships, Registered Apprenticeship (as defined in Section III.G. Definitions), or other nontraditional skills training programs designed to prepare women for careers in A/NTO; 2.) Providing ongoing orientations or other resources for employers, unions, and workers on creating a successful environment for women in A/NTO; and/or 3.) The National Park Service"s (NPS) Underrepresented Communities Grant Program (URC) is intended to expand listings in the National Register of Historic Places to include communities that are currently underrepresented. URC grants are funded by the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF), and are administered by the NPS. Projects include surveys and nominations of historic sites associated with communities underrepresented in the National Register. Every URC grant project MUST result in at least one new or amended nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Sexual Assault Services Formula Program (SAS Formula Program), per 34 U.S.C. § 12511(a)(1), assists states and territories in providing “intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services, and related assistance for adult, youth, and child victims of sexual assault, family and household members of such victims, and those collaterally affected by the victimization, except for the perpetrator of such victimization.”

The Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR) high-throughput genotyping, sequencing and supporting statistical genetics services are designed to aid the identification of genes or genetic modifications that contribute to human health and disease or to enhance existing collections of well-phenotyped specimens in biorepositories by the addition of genotype or next-generation sequence data. The laboratory specializes in genomic services that cannot be efficiently carried out in individual investigator laboratories. CIDR provides the most up-to-date platforms, services and statistical genetic support. This is an NIH-wide initiative that is managed by NHGRI. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Era of Hope Scholar Award supports individuals who are early in their careers with significant potential to effect meaningful change in breast cancer. As the Intent of the FY26 BCRP Era of Hope Scholar Award is to recognize creative and innovative individuals rather than projects, the award’s central features include the Principal Investigator’s (PI’s) demonstrated ability to go beyond conventional thinking in their field and the innovative and meaningful contributions that they can make toward ending breast cancer. The Era of Hope Scholar Award requires exceptionally talented scientists that are among “the best and the brightest” in their field(s), with demonstrated experience forming effective partnerships and collaborations and strong potential for future leadership in breast cancer research. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The PI must commit a minimum of 25% level of time and effort during the period of performance to conduct breast cancer research under this award.·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.

Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Clinical Research Extension Award supports research that extends the data collection, follow-up, and analysis of breast cancer clinical studies. The intent of this award mechanism is to increase the clinically relevant impact of breast cancer patient participation in clinical studies by addressing the knowledge lost due to early trial termination, limited patient follow-up, or suboptimal sample and/or data collection and analysis. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.·        This funding mechanism allows for a single Principal Investigator (PI), or two partnering PIs referred to as the Initiating PI and the Partnering PI. Applications must address the challenge in a way that can lead to a breakthrough and have major impact. The FY26 Breakthrough Award mechanism contains four different funding levels designed to support major (but not all) stages of research that will lead to clinical application. Description: RTL is designed to: (1) promote school readiness and academic achievement through the development and dissemination of accessible instructional programming for preschool and elementary school children and their families; (2) develop and disseminate programming and digital content containing Ready to Learn programming that is specially designed for nationwide distribution over public television stations’ digital broadcasting channels and the Internet; and (3) Produce educational outreach materials and programs that are designed to deepen and extend the effectiveness of the educational television and interactive. RTL accomplishes this by providing grants to support the creation of nationally distributed educational media content that meets the highest standards of educational quality. RTL television and digital media products focus on developmentally appropriate curriculum frameworks that align with widely accepted learning standards. 

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Compensation Formula Grant. Eligible victim compensation programs can use these funds to provide crime victims with compensation, support, and services to aid their restoration after criminal violence, including costs associated with medical fees, lost income, dependent care, funeral expenses, and relocation expenses.

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Formula Grant. This opportunity provides an annual VOCA victim assistance grant to all states and most territories to provide subgrants to local organizations and public agencies that provide services directly to crime victims. The purpose of fiscal year (FY) 2026 Quality Improvement Fund: Improving Access to Dental Services for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (QIF-DNDD) is to increase access to preventive dental and additional dental services and improve dental health outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), including children with autism spectrum and developmental disorders. The purpose of the Nursing Workforce Development (NWD) program is to increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

​​The Rural Residency Planning and Development (RRPD) program improves and expands rural health care access. It does this by developing new, accredited, sustainable rural residency programs, including rural track programs (RTPs). ​Newly created rural physician residency programs increase training and ultimately practice in rural areas to address physician shortages. ​The RRPD program provides start-up funding to create new rural residency programs in qualifying medical specialties.
