In 1988, the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Preservation grant program was established to document, preserve, and stabilize historic structures on HBCU campuses. Historic resources on campuses of accredited Historically Black Colleges and Universities that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places either individually or as contributing to a National Register or National Historic Landmark historic district are eligible for this program. Projects must meet major program selection criteria and all work must follow the Secretary of the Interior"s Standards and Guidelines for Archeology and Historic Preservation. Projects may also fund survey, nomination, and preservation planning for historic HBCU campuses.

Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP) Concept Award supports highly innovative, untested, potentially groundbreaking concepts, theories, paradigms and/or basic kidney cancer research. This award mechanism supports high-risk studies that have the potential to reveal entirely new avenues for investigation in kidney cancer. Applications must describe how the new concept will be innovative and present a novel course of investigation in the field of kidney cancer. Distinctive Features: •                    Preliminary data are not allowed. •                    This is a blinded funding mechanism. Applications to this funding opportunity will undergo a double-blinded peer review. The purpose of the RRTCs is to achieve the goals of, and improve the effectiveness of, services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act through well-designed research, training, technical assistance, and dissemination activities in important topical areas as specified by NIDILRR. This particular opportunity is for an RRTC is to generate new knowledge about effective employer practices that support successful employment outcomes among people with disabilities. NIDILRR plans to make one grant under this opportunity. The grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.

The purpose of NIDILRR's Disability and Rehabilitation Research Project (DRRP) grants is to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act by generating knowledge or developing methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technologies that advance a wide range of independent living and employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities, especially those with the greatest support needs. Under this particular opportunity, a DRRP must conduct knowledge translation and related activities in collaboration with the Burn Model System, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Model System, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System grantees. Specifically, the MSKTC will be required to collaborate with the model system centers to produce and promote systematic reviews of existing research and information products for SCI, TBI, and Burn; identify and implement effective strategies for disseminating SCI, TBI, and Burn Model System programs" research findings; serve as the central resource for the Model System programs' knowledge and product dissemination; and provide training and technical assistance in knowledge translation for the Model System grantees. This grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.

This particular opportunity is for an RRTC to conduct research toward evidence-based services, supports, or interventions to promote community living outcomes among people with disabilities. NIDILRR plans to make one grant under this opportunity. The grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.

The SCIMS program is designed to provide research-based knowledge to support a multidisciplinary system of rehabilitation care for people with spinal cord injury (SCI). For purposes of this program, SCI is defined as a clinically discernible degree of neurologic impairment of the spinal cord. SCIMS Centers must conduct site-specific and collaborative research. SCIMS Centers must also collect and contribute data to the SCIMS longitudinal database. SCIMS Centers will be funded at varying amounts up to the maximum award based on the numbers of database participants eligible for follow-up in the SCIMS longitudinal database. Existing centers with significantly larger numbers of database participants will receive higher funding within the specified range, as determined by NIDILRR after the applicants are selected for funding. The grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.

The purpose of this directed announcement is to provide existing SBA WBC grantees that will have successfully completed a 5-year Initial WBC Project or those WBCs that will have successfully completed a 3-year Renewal WBC Project the opportunity to apply for a new renewal grant.

The Biological Anthropology Program seeks to advance scientific knowledge about the processes that have shaped biological diversity in living and fossil humans and their primate relatives through support of basic research on human and primate evolution, biological variation, and interactions between biology, behavior, and culture. The program supports a portfolio of research that demonstrates engagement with biological anthropological and evolutionary theory; includes diverse and interdisciplinary methods in field, laboratory and computational settings; encompasses multiple levels of analysis (e.g., molecular, organismal, population, ecosystem) and time scales from the short-term to evolutionary; and considers the ethical implications and societal impacts of the research. The program also supports a wide range of broader impact activities as part of research grants, including research outcomes with inherent benefit to society, efforts to broaden participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) research, training and outreach activities and other evidence-based activities developed within the context of the mission, goals, and resources of the organizations and people involved.

Developmental Sciences supports basic research that increases our understanding of perceptual, cognitive, linguistic, social, cultural, and biological processes related to human development across the lifespan. Research supported by this program will add to our knowledge of the underlying developmental processes that support social, cognitive, and behavioral functioning, thereby illuminating ways for individuals to live productive lives as members of society. The Developmental Sciences program supports research that addresses developmental processes within the domains of perceptual, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and motor development across the lifespan by working with any appropriate populations for the topics of interest including infants, children, adolescents, adults (including aging populations), and non-human animals. The program also supports research investigating factors that affect developmental change, including family, peers, school, community, culture, media, physical, genetic, and epigenetic influences. The program funds research that incorporates multidisciplinary, multi-method, and/or longitudinal approaches; develops new methods, models, and theories for studying development; and integrates different processes (e.g., memory, emotion, perception, cognition), levels of analysis (e.g., behavioral, social, neural) and time scales. The U.S. Department of State’s Public Diplomacy Mission Mexico announces an open competition to implement a program to strengthen cultural ties and mutual understanding between the U.S. and Mexico through cultural, economic, security, educational, professional, and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. All programs must include a U.S. cultural element, or connection with U.S. expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives. Programs that include multiple states and/or promote increased collaboration and networking between U.S. government program alumni are encouraged.   

The Legal Assistance for Victims Grant Program increases access to legal assistance for victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking who are seeking relief in legal matters relating to or arising out of that abuse or violence. It funds projects that provide comprehensive legal assistance, as defined in 34 U.S.C. § 12291(a)(24). The projects must include organizations that have a mission and history of providing direct services to victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.

In 1997, OSHA renamed the program in honor of the late Susan Harwood, former director of the OSHA Office of Risk Assessment. The grant program offers eligible organizations the opportunity to compete annually for funding so they may develop and conduct training and educational programs for small business employers and workers. The Susan Harwood Training Grant Program supports eligible organizations' efforts to provide occupational safety and health training. These organizations train eligible workers and employers about workplace hazards, hazard avoidance, controls, worker rights, and employer responsibilities under the OSH Act.The FY 2026 federal appropriations authorize OSHA to announce the availability of $12,787,000 in funding for new Susan Harwood Training Program grants. Through the Continuing Training Grants (CTG) program, the Department of Homeland Security Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Homeland Security National Training Program (HSNTP) plays an important role in the National Preparedness System. The CTG program supports building, sustaining, and delivering core capabilities through the development and delivery of training to achieve the National Preparedness Goal (the Goal), which is “a secure and resilient nation with the capabilities required across the whole community to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to, and recover from the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk”.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) offer new technologies to support key mission requirements including preliminary damage assessments, debris measurements and calculations, visual evidence, confirmation analysis, establishing flood levels and damages to structures, search and rescue operations, and logistics and package delivery. As jurisdictions develop UAS programs and integrate this technology in emergency management operations, training is critical. FEMA supports the development and delivery of curriculum that leads to the competencies required for the emergency management and first responder communities to effectively use UAS before, during, and after disasters. Students, after completing UAS training, will be better prepared to effectively use UAS resources to achieve outcomes. 

In accordance with the Federal Fire Prevention and Control Act of 1974, the Superintendent of the National Fire Academy (NFA) delivers training in cooperation with the State fire service training agencies. This cooperation includes the State Fire Training Systems Grant (SFTSG) program providing grants to pay for: the direct delivery of government-funded coursed in the states; the distribution and sharing of Student Manuals, Instructor Guides, and other course materials; and funding to the states to help supplement and tailor their training delivery needs using NFA courses and programs.

The goal of the FY 2026 Team Nutrition Training Grant: Growing Healthier Futures is to enhance training for child nutrition professionals to improve meal quality, support wellness policies and nutrition education that emphasize whole, minimally processed foods, and build sustainable infrastructure for NSLP, SBP, SFSP, and CACFP program operators.   Applicants have the option of selecting one of the two objectives below. Applicants must select only one (1) grant objective.   Grant Objective #1: Deliver training and technical assistance to child nutrition professionals in the School Meals Programs to improve meal planning and preparation in line with the Dietary Guidelines, while promoting nutrition education and fostering healthy school environments that support nutritious food choices and active lifestyles. Proposals must focus on all three (3) School Meals Programs: NSLP, SBP and SFSP.   Grant Objective #2: Provide training, mentorship, and technical assistance to CACFP providers to enhance meal planning and preparation for children and adults, while delivering nutrition education through multiple channels and promoting healthy food environments at CACFP sites.
