The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT) is seeking proposals for an initiative that will address the exploitation of illicit mining by violent FTOs. Special focus should be on the relationship and involvement of FTOs and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) in the space. Competitive proposals should take an integrated approach to the threat and include civilian law enforcement, mining sector regulators, judges and prosecutors, and civil society where appropriate.

This program, authorized under the BIDEN Reimbursement Fund established by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, Public Law 119-21, Title X, Subtitle A, Part II (codified at 34 U.S.C. § 61101), provides funding for grants to eligible States, State agencies, and units of local government and tribal governments, pursuant to their existing statutory authorities to support the seven statutory purposes outlined in 34 U.S.C. § 61101: 1. Locating and apprehending aliens who have committed a crime under federal, state, or local law, in addition to being unlawfully present in the United States (hereafter referred to as “criminal illegal aliens”). 2. Collection and analysis of law enforcement investigative information within the United States to counter gang or other criminal activity. 3. Investigating and prosecuting (a) crimes committed by aliens within the United States; and (b) drug and human trafficking crimes committed within the United States. 4. Court operations related to the prosecution of (a) crimes committed by aliens; and (b) drug and human trafficking crimes. 5. Temporary criminal detention of aliens. 6. Transporting aliens described in paragraph (1) within the United States to locations related to the apprehension, detention, and prosecution of such aliens. 7. This notice solicits applications for projects under the Center for Indigenous Innovation and Health (CIIH) initiative. CIIH will support efforts, including research, education, service, partnership development and technical assistance, to address the documented chronic disease burden and health care access gaps experienced by American Indian and Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander populations.Funded projects should implement evidence-based frameworks and community-based strategies to prevent and improve chronic disease outcomes, including obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and related conditions, within one Indigenous population of focus.

Following Iran's widespread use of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) throughout the Near East region during the 2026 conflict, there remains a significant and persistent risk of unexploded ordnance (UXO) falling into the hands of malign actors who could repurpose these materials to carry out attacks against U.S. facilities, critical infrastructure, and civilian soft targets, a phenomenon known as “explosive harvesting.” The proliferation of UXO, combined with the technical sophistication of Iranian-origin explosive materials, presents an acute threat to regional stability and U.S. national security interests. The Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to provide specialized explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), counter improvised explosive device (C-IED), and post-blast investigation training and equipment to security forces in Iraq, Lebanon, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates). The U.S. Embassy Amman, U.S. Department of State, announces an open competition to implement a program to strengthen the capacity of Jordanian entrepreneurs to invest in the U.S. market through SelectUSA programs including the SelectUSA Investment Summit, SelectUSA Tech, and Select Global Women in Tech. SelectUSA and the SelectUSA Investment Summit and programs are U.S. Department of Commerce-led initiatives that promote investment in the United States.This program will develop a cohort of 15 Jordan-based entrepreneurs working in U.S. priority sectors through a two-phase readiness program. The first phase consists of a 10-week training program to enhance participants’ success in engaging with U.S. markets, including market entry strategies, business practices, partnership development, and overall commercial readiness. The second phase includes a three-week investment promotion visit to the United States for five of the entrepreneurs who succeed in a competition at the end of the 10-week training. The purpose of this document is to advise the public that NOAA/NOS/National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) Competitive Research Program (NCCOS/CRP) [formerly Center for Sponsored Coastal Ocean Research (CSCOR)/Coastal Ocean Program (COP)] is soliciting proposals to drive practical and cost-effective innovations for harmful algal bloom toxin detection in seafood that promotes seafood safety, food security, and the economic success of U.S. seafood industries and their competitiveness in global markets. For this Announcement, proposals will focus on the development and advancement of innovative, efficient, and effective point-of-use harmful algal bloom toxin detection technologies in support of the Nation’s nutritional, cultural, and economic seafood interests, and to reduce costs to U.S. communities and industries that rely on safe seafood. --- Funding is contingent upon the availability of Federal appropriations. The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Doha announces an open competition to implement a program to advance concrete U.S. economic, technological, and security interests in Qatar. This is not a call for traditional cultural programming. What We Fund: Projects that position U.S. firms and technologies as Qatar's preferred partners; demonstrate how America's open society drives innovation; strengthen U.S.-Qatar security cooperation; and use Freedom250 to showcase American excellence in ways that support strategic objectives. While working to implement Cures Act provisions, ONC identified gaps with respect to leveraging EHR data to support population-level analyses and delivery of services, as well as integrating clinical knowledge into routine clinical practice. The reasons for these gaps range from a lack of data standards and interoperability to the digitization, integration, and presentation of new evidence into clinical workflows in safe, useful, and useable ways. Therefore, this funding opportunity will support innovative and breakthrough solutions critical to maximize the potential of health IT and achieve the goal of a transformed health care delivery system through various methods, such as:• Determining the fundamental questions, the answers to which will identify barriers to nationwide interoperability and electronic exchange of health data.• Engaging the health IT industry, along with academic researchers, to identify and develop innovative solutions that address barriers to interoperability.• Disseminating findings from research while fostering collaboration, advancement, and implementation of solutions and lessons learned with the health IT industry.

The USDA’s Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) works to nourish those in need through financially sound programs that promote health and work, as well as champion the productivity of American agriculture. FNA requests applications for the Healthy Fluid Milk Incentives (HFMI) Cooperative Agreement Project for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026. The goal of these grants is to increase the purchase of fluid milk among low-income consumers participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by providing incentives at the point of purchase. In line with the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) strategic goals to provide Americans with access to healthier food systems to build healthier families, the HFMI project both develops and implements modernized systems, as well as strengthens existing strategies to encourage healthy choices, healthy outcomes, and healthy families.

The Office of Citizen Exchanges, Youth Programs Division of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) is pleased to announce an open competition for the FY 2026 Youth Ambassadors program. Proposals may be submitted to implement one, or more, of eight program options outlined in this solicitation. A different proposal must be submitted for each program option, if applying for more than one. You must clearly identify which program option a proposal is for, early in the Executive Summary of the proposal. The Youth Ambassadors program provides groups of youth and adult mentor (select programs) participants from select countries in the regions of Sub-Saharan Africa (AF), East Asia and Pacific (EAP), Europe and Eurasia (EUR), Middle East and North Africa (NEA), South Central Asia (SCA), the Western Hemisphere (WHA), and the United States of America (USA) , with a three-week exchange focusing on youth leadership. In addition to participants travelling internationally, exchanges will include U.S. youth and adult mentors participating as peers in U.S. based exchanges. As applicants explore the main theme of leadership, they are encouraged to showcase creative and transformative application of AI concepts, resources, strategies, and tools. The U.S. Department of State’s Consulate General Toronto announces an open competition to implement a program to provide Canadian university students with a short-term study tour in the United States that provides a deeper understanding of America’s founding history and values. The program will include visits to locations of historical significance associated with the American Revolution, creation of the U.S. Constitution, and establishment of an independent United States, as well as to cultural and educational institutions that highlight American excellence.  These visits will be paired with lectures and discussions by U.S. experts on American history, federalism, and the U.S. Constitution, and how this history informs American values and policy today. Participants will develop a project after completing the study tour that amplifies their learning and experience and shares the information from their program with a broader Canadian audience. The target audience is Canadian citizens studying American Studies, history, political science or other relevant fields at the undergraduate or graduate level at Canadian universities. The program advances the goal of communicating America’s story of excellence and leadership, cultivating a cohort of future Canadian leaders in education, government, and international relations with a positive view of the United States who view the United States as a trusted partner.

​​The Public Health Training Center (PHTC) Program aims to increase the knowledge of the public health workforce through traineeships, specialized training and professional development in partnership with state and local health departments, community-based primary care providers, and related organizations (including non-traditional partners) to address public healthcare needs.​

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Algiers is launching a competitive program to catalyze innovation and commerce between the United States and Algeria and advance key U.S. foreign policy priorities. The initiative aims to strengthen commercial ties, expand market access for American companies, and promote American business models and technology, particularly in entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence as well as English language development[MS1.1]. Target audiences include Algerian students and young leaders (ages 18-35), entrepreneurs, and mid-career professionals, with a focus on building partnerships between U.S. and Algerian institutions and improving knowledge relevant to U.S. business and technology standards. The Embassy may play an active role in guiding and monitoring the program, while recipients will manage implementation and outreach. Competitive proposals should support a priority program area (see below) and should include a connection with American expert/s, organization/s, institution/s or private sector companies that will promote increased cooperation between the people of the United States and Algeria even after the program has finished.

Program Description: The purpose of this grant competition is to establish a National Assessment Center to improve children with disabilities’ participation in and performance on State and districtwide assessments. This award is funded under the Technical Assistance and Dissemination to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities program. The goal of this program is to promote academic achievement and to improve results for children with disabilities by providing technical assistance (TA), supporting model demonstration projects, disseminating useful information, and implementing activities supported by scientifically based research. This award aligns to requirements in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Specifically, section 612(a)(16) requires that all children with disabilities are included with appropriate accommodations in general State and districtwide assessments as indicated in their individualized education programs, including assessments described under section 1111 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and alternate assessments. Many States have also adopted kindergarten entry assessments to assess multiple developmental domains and support early learning. A well‑designed and well‑managed security audit program systematically reviews prison operations, policies, procedures, staff performance, physical security systems, and emergency preparedness to identify vulnerabilities and risks. Because prisons inherently involve high‑risk factors—such as escapes, violence, contraband, disturbances, and other safety threats—structured, policy‑driven audits conducted by knowledgeable staff are essential for identifying and preventing problems before they occur.NIC’s 36‑hour security training program supports this goal by providing a comprehensive, hands‑on auditing experience. The program includes an in‑brief with agency and facility leadership, one full day of in‑person classroom instruction, three and a half days of prison‑based audit work, and a half‑day executive close‑out. Participants have a unique, nonjudgmental opportunity to apply auditing skills in real operational settings as teams are deployed to designated prisons. Upon completion, a full report of findings is prepared, enabling agencies to develop effective remediation strategies.
