OPA intends to make available approximately $8.3 million for an estimated nine (9) grant awards for a period of up to five (5) years. The actual amount available will not be determined until enactment of the FY2027 federal budget.The goal of this initiative is to identify effective interventions focused on body literacy and ensuring transparency and protection of parental rights for future replication by adolescent health practitioners and youth-serving professionals, and to disseminate the research findings and lessons learned to inform future studies.

The Department of State’s Office of the Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (ACN/NDF) is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). The Global Leaders Division in the Office of Citizen Exchanges at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) seeks proposals for a cooperative agreement to design and implement the FY 2026 Community Solutions Program (CSP). The United States has a strong tradition of hard work, entrepreneurship, and local leadership that has powered economic growth. American communities succeed by building on what they do best — innovating, strengthening key industries, and coordinating business, workforce, and community leadership to deliver results. CSP invests in American and international community leaders interested in learning from proven U.S. approaches to regional economic growth. The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Bridgetown announces an open competition to implement a two-year EducationUSA Regional Advising Program based in Barbados to expand access to U.S. higher education opportunities across the Eastern Caribbean through comprehensive virtual and in-person advising services. The part-time adviser will deliver monthly webinar series targeting prospective students, virtual outreach programs providing individual and cohort advising for students and parents, and partnership development with at least 15 U.S. universities and regional institutions. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Intercity Passenger Rail (IPR) – Amtrak program is one of four grant programs that constitute DHS/FEMA’s focus on transportation infrastructure security activities. The purpose of the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program-Technical Assistance (RCORP-TA) is to connect rural communities with high-quality, comprehensive, and tailored resources and supports to implement and sustain behavioral health care, including prevention, treatment, and recovery services, to address the opioid epidemic and related substance use concerns in rural areas. RCORP-TA supports and complements other RCORP investments to address the crisis of substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder, in rural areas, prevent substance misuse and its impacts, and promote long-term, sustained well-being.

The purpose of this funding announcement is to demonstrate and evaluate the scalability of person-centered and evidence-based approaches to falls prevention that leverage clinical and community partnerships and related data and technology tools. ACL intends to award a single cooperative agreement to one grantee for a three-year project period with the expectation that the grantee will fund up to three demonstrations. This award will build on the ACL Innovation Lab to demonstrate the scaling of person-centered and evidence-based approaches to falls prevention and related chronic disease management programs through community care hubs and their respective clinical partners and community-based organizations in the aging services network. The successful applicant will be expected to collaborate with ACL in the design and implementation of these demonstrations in the scalability of falls prevention and related chronic disease management interventions through approximately three advanced community care hubs that support care transitions and screening for the risk of falls. They should also have the capacity to 1) do rapid cycle evaluation to iterate and improve the impact of the interventions as they are scaled and, 2) administer sub-awards to community care hubs that can implement and scale person-centered interventions enabled by artificial intelligence, data analytics, assistive technology, virtual delivery of interventions, tools to support consumer behaviors, and related data infrastructure.

Grants awarded under this announcement are to provide disaster reimbursement and assistance funds to those State Units on Aging (SUAs), and federally recognized Tribal Organizations who are currently receiving a grant under Title VI of the Older Americans Act (OAA), as amended. Total funding available for disaster assistance is subject to the availability of funds appropriated. The estimated number of awards is seven with a one year project period. Funds may only be used in those areas designated in the Major Disaster Declaration issued by the President of the United States under the Robert T. Stafford Relief and emergency Assistance Act. Funds typically are for the following OAA Title III types of gap-filling services: outreach, information and assistance, counseling, case management, advocacy on behalf of older persons, additional food and meals, supplies, damaged senior center equipment replacement, staff overtime, emergency medications, transportation and other such immediate needs. OAA funds may be sed for permissible expenses incurred which are not or cannot be paid for through other disaster funding resources. Applicants should talk with State, Tribal, and local Emergency Managers to determine what funds may be available through other resources before applying for OAA funding. Per the Lifespan Respite Care Act, the purpose of the National Lifespan Respite Resource Center is to: (1) maintain a national database on lifespan respite care;(2) provide training and technical assistance to State,community, and nonprofit respite care programs; and(3) provide information, referral, and educational programsto the public on lifespan respite care.

The primary goal of the Native American Resource Center (NARC) will be to enhance the knowledge about older adults in American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiin (AI/AN/NH), community, thereby increase and improve the delivery of services to elders. The NARC will focus on the development and provision of technical information. The NARC's will have a national focus and direct its resource to one or more of the primary concerns in their application which includes health issues, long term care, including in-home care; elder abuse; and other problems and issues facing AI, AN and NH older populations. To carry out a project to provide programmatic, logistical, travel, and administrative support to advance INL Mexico’s objectives and programs. Program Description- The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires the Secretary to provide annually at least $4,000,000 to address the postsecondary, vocational, technical, continuing, and adult education needs of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.[1] Aligned with this requirement, through this competition the Department intends to establish a National Technical Assistance Center for Postsecondary Education and Training for Individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the FY26 Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) Program. The mental health and wellness of law enforcement officers and their families is a priority of the Administration. NIC has been providing staffing analysis resources to the corrections community for over 30 years. Their staffing analysis process and methodology are widely regarded as the industry standard within the corrections community and beyond.Through this cooperative agreement, NIC seeks to provide the corrections community with opportunities to participate in the Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) version of staffing analysis training. This program will enhance and expand staffing analysis training and technical assistance for federal, state, local, and tribal corrections agencies.Extracted from the processes and methodology depicted in NIC staffing analysis resources, the staffing analysis VILT curriculum was developed with distinct advantages for the participating agencies over the in-class delivery method. The staffing analysis process can be time-consuming and daunting for new or inexperienced analysts. As with most things, practical experience is the best instructor. Unlike the in-class curriculum, the NIC staffing analysis VILT training program provides participating agencies with step-by-step instruction and actual completion of a staffing analysis over the course of the training engagement.Participants will be supported throughout the learning process through live virtual instruction, structured intersession assignments, and individualized coaching as they complete a staffing analysis of custodial line officers and first-line supervisors at one of their agency’s facilities.
