Summary: This funding mechanism supports planning and development activities and pilot studies that will generate preliminary data and demonstrate feasibility for achieving the aims of a future interventional study. Successful studies may be submitted to a future Lupus Research Program (LRP) Transformative Vision Award (TVA), or equivalent, for funding consideration (See Funding Opportunity Number HT942526LRPTVA for additional information). Research must address at least one of the fiscal year 2026 (FY26) LRP Transformative Vision Development Award (TVDA) focus areas. This funding mechanism allows for phase 0/1 clinical trials, if appropriate. Summary: This funding mechanism supports interventional research at the individual and/or health care system level which will result in near-term impact on the health-related quality of life of individuals living with lupus. The emphasis is on near-term impact on quality of life. Research must address at least one of the fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Lupus Research Program (LRP) Transformative Vision Award (TVA) focus areas. This mechanism allows for clinical trials but does not allow animal studies.Distinctive Features:• Applications must include preliminary data.• Applications must include at least one lupus consumer advocate as a member of the research team.• This funding mechanism allows for up to three Principal Investigators (PIs). Only the initiating PI will submit a pre-application, but all PIs will need to submit full applications. The partnering PI(s) application is an abbreviated package specific to their distinct portion of the research project. The United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ Office of International Visitors (ECA/PE/V) announces an open competition for approximately five cooperative agreements to support the staff expenses and overhead costs of the FY 2027 International Visitor Leadership Program’s (IVLP) National Program Agencies (NPAs). Launched in 1940, the IVLP is the Department of State’s foundational professional exchange program. The IVLP advances America First national security priorities and builds long-term relationships between Americans and international leaders in government, business, academia, and other fields. Recipients design and implement customized short-term visits to the United States for current and emerging leaders from around the world. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The FY26 Collaborative Reform Initiative (CRI) program funding seeks to provide best practices of law enforcement agencies and the many ways they are protecting Americans, enhance officer safety and wellness, build agencies’ capacity for self-improvement and effectiveness, and promote community policing practices nationwide. This funding opportunity has two program subcategories of which applicants may apply for funding: Category 1: Collaborative Reform Initiative Technical Assistance Center (CRI-TAC). Since 2017, CRI-TAC has provided a wide array of TA services using a “by the field, for the field” approach. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The FY26 Collaborative Reform Initiative (CRI) Organizational Assessment and Enhanced Training program funding opportunity to identify and implement organizational improvements aligned with the principles of community policing to law enforcement agencies through assessments, technical assistance and enhanced training. The Enhanced Training program offers a suite of innovative new on-line enhanced training experiences for law enforcement professionals nationwide that focus on implementing organizational and operational improvements and measuring outcomes in short amounts of time (between three and six months). They are conducted through a series of regularly scheduled virtual trainings with specific projects developed by participants for completion. The key features of the enhanced training experience include training in cohorts, flexible scheduling, blended learning, and continuous access to trainers and subject matter experts throughout the training period. Enhanced training courses are designed to maximize outcomes, implementation of new concepts, meaningful participation, and sustainability.

The Public Diplomacy Sections (PDS) of the U.S. Mission to ASEAN and U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh announce an open competition for applications to develop, organize, and oversee the Young Southeast Asian Leader Initiative (YSEALI) ScamShield Regional Workshop in Cambodia. Following the success of the YSEALI CyberSafe workshop in January 2026, this next workshop on countering online scams will reveal how criminal scam groups use illicit financial flows as they victimize Americans and Southeast Asians, and it will teach young leaders to detect, disrupt, and dismantle criminal financial networks. The workshop will gather approximately 60 YSEALI exchange alumni and up to 11 YSEALI CyberSafe alumni mentors from all 11 ASEAN countries for four days of expert panel discussions, site visits, and workshops where they will design action plans for detecting, disrupting, and dismantling the financial flows of scam groups in Southeast Asia. Participants will deploy the skills and network they develop at the workshop, working together across borders to counter criminal scam groups, disrupt illicit financial flows, and help protect the people of Southeast Asia and America.
