The purpose of the GusNIP-NI is to fund and evaluate projects intended to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands; and the Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP) Block Grants participants in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands by providing incentives at the point of purchase. When the term “SNAP/NAP” is used it is means both the SNAPNAP Block Grants.

The primary goal of BFRDP, under assistance listing number 10.311, is to help beginning farmers and ranchers in the United States and its territories enter and/or improve their successes in farming, ranching, and management of nonindustrial private forest lands, through support for projects that provide education, outreach, and technical assistance to give beginning farmers and ranchers the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to make informed decisions for their operations and enhance their sustainability. 

Save America"s Treasures grants from the Historic Preservation Fund provide preservation and/or conservation assistance to nationally significant historic properties and collections. For collections, the program supports museums, libraries, archives, and all other collecting institutions in addressing conservation needs of nationally significant collections including physical conservation, curation, care, and collections management. Grants are awarded through a competitive process and require a dollar-for-dollar, non-Federal match, which can be cash or documented in-kind. The grant program is administered by the National Park Service (NPS) in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).There are separate opportunities for preservation and collections projects. The goal of this concept is to increase the impact of the BRAIN Initiative by targeted dissemination and integration of validated BRAIN Initiative tools to investigators at institutions that historically have not been major recipients of NIH support. This will be accomplished by awards to PIs at resource-limited institutions (RLIs) who pair with BRAIN technologists to facilitate training and adoption of BRAIN Initiative technologies in the recipient laboratories. Goals include two-way knowledge transfer between the PI and BRAIN technologist and to increase the participation of PIs at RLIs in BRAIN Initiative relevant research.

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) invites applications for the Awards Supporting Cutting-Edge Technologies for Translational Science (ASCETTS) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to foster investigator-initiated development of highly innovative technologies to address barriers, limitations, or bottlenecks in translational science particularly for therapeutic development. This program will support the early-stage proof of concept, high-risk and potentially high-reward studies for feasibility and exploratory technology development, which can transform or significantly improve the efficiency of therapeutic development to achieve NCATS ultimate goals - more treatments to all people more quickly. The research proposed should be for the development of technology that can break new ground or extend present technology toward new directions or novel applications. With this initiative, we expect to support the development and/or prototyping of new technologies that will lead to improved efficiency in the therapeutic development pipeline.

Through CSP State Entity grants, the Department awards grants on a competitive basis to State entities that, in turn, award subgrants to eligible applicants for the purpose of opening new charter schools and replicating and expanding high-quality charter schools. This program provides financial assistance to State entities to support charter schools that serve elementary and secondary school students in States with a State statute specifically authorizing the establishment of charter schools. Charter schools receiving funds under this program may also serve students in early childhood education programs or post secondary students.

The Secretary of the Interior ("Secretary"), through the Division of Energy and Mineral Development (DEMD), Office of Trust Services, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), is soliciting grant proposals from Federally recognized Tribal entities for the Energy and Mineral Development Program (EMDP) grant. The EMDP grant seeks to identify, evaluate, and assess, energy or mineral resources and related projects on Indian land.Certified Local Governments are encouraged to prioritize projects in support of the celebration of America"s 250th birthday (American250). The Gulf of America Division (“GAD”), located in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Region 4, is part of the EPA Great Water Body program that collaborates to protect, maintain, and restore the health and productivity of the Gulf of America consistent with the economic well-being of the region. EPA’s actions are designed to support improved water quality; to enhance, restore and/or protect natural habitats; and to improve the region’s ability to withstand storm events. This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications to improve water quality and/or habitat through collaboration with America’s farmers. Applications must align with the Administration’s "Powering the Great American Comeback" initiative and align with EPA statutory authorities. Activities must take place in the Gulf of America watershed and/or within the United States contiguous zone in the Gulf of America. States play an essential role in conserving and recovering species listed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA), 16 U.S.C. 1535. Listed species under NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service’s (NMFS) jurisdiction may spend all or part of their life cycles in state waters, and success in conserving these species depends largely on working cooperatively with the States. NMFS is authorized to provide Federal assistance to eligible State agencies to support the development and implementation of conservation programs for listed marine and anadromous species that reside within that State. This assistance, provided in the form of grants or cooperative agreements through the Species Recovery Grants to States Program, can be used to support conservation activities for any endangered or threatened species, as well as monitoring candidate species, recently delisted species, and species proposed for listing under the ESA. Funded activities may include development and implementation of management efforts, scientific research, and public education and outreach. Proposals should seek to address priority actions in ESA Recovery Plans or Recovery Outlines to the extent possible. The U.S. Department of State’s U.S. Mission to NATO announces an open competition to implement a program that strengthens transatlantic security by advancing understanding of NATO’s role in collective defense and defense industrial cooperation. Through the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program, the Office of the Public Affairs Advisor will support initiatives that connect U.S. and Allied stakeholders, build expertise, and foster collaboration across defense, policy, and innovation. The purpose of this Program Announcement (PAR) is to enable clinical validation of strong candidate biomarkers for neurological diseases and conditions. Specifically, the goal of this PAR is to enable the rigorous validation of biomarker measurements within the clinical population of interest to establish the positive and negative predictive values of the candidate biomarker consistent with FDA guidelines. This PAR assumes that 1) a candidate biomarker has already been identified, 2) detection method technology has already been developed and analytically validated, and 3) the research and/or clinical need and potential context of use has been identified.

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support rigorous analytical validation of method(s) used for measuring biomarkers for neurological and neuromuscular disorders for use in clinical trials or clinical practice. Applicants must justify the unmet need for the biomarker(s) and measurement methods and specify one or two context(s) of use for the biomarker(s). Activities supported include optimizing and evaluating the accuracy, precision, reportable range, and analytical sensitivity and specificity of the detection method across multiple sites and operators and establishing reference intervals and quality control procedures. Multi-site applications are expected but not required.

The purpose of this proposed Notice of Funding Announcement (NOFO) is to support development of biomarkers or clinical outcomes derived from digital health technology (DHT) for use in clinical trials for remote monitoring as primary or secondary endpoints. To improve clinical impact, increase statistical feasibility, and promote standardization, applicants will be expected to develop and test the digitally derived assessments in populations from at least three different diseases or conditions. Partnerships with non-profit patient advocacy organizations will be required.

The Precision Measurement Grant Program (PMGP) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for activities to conduct research work in the field of fundamental measurement, testing the basic laws of physics, and/or the determination of fundamental constants, with emphasis on pressing problems or emerging opportunities.

This program funds projects that improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of intercity passenger and freight rail.

Per the McGovern-Dole program’s authorizing legislation, this funding opportunity is intended to improve food security, reduce the incidence of hunger, and improve literacy and primary education, particularly with respect to girls, through the procurement of U.S. agricultural commodities, plus the provision of financial and technical assistance. All McGovern-Dole projects provide school feeding through a combination of predominantly U.S.-provided and some locally and regionally procured commodities and address the two strategic program objectives 1) Improved Literacy of School-Aged Children, and 2) Increased Use of Health, Nutrition and Dietary Practices.
