The English Language Fellows program brings American English language teaching professionals to Egypt to work with local institutions, train Egyptian English teachers, develop curriculum, and strengthen English language education capacity. Executive Summary: The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Beirut, Lebanon announces an open competition to implement programs that promote U.S. priorities and strengthen ties between the United States and Lebanon. U.S. priorities include highlighting U.S.-led peace and stabilization efforts and advancing digital literacy to identify and counter false adversarial narratives and claims. All programs must include an American element, or connection with American expert(s), organization(s), or institution(s) that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives. Project Background, Goals, and Objectives The Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) invites proposals for programs that support the following U.S. Embassy Beirut priority program area: ·      Advance digital literacy, the use of artificial intelligence tools, and other instruments and forums to identify and counter false adversarial narratives and claims. Applicants are expected to identify their target audience, scope of work and effectively measure the results of their programs throughout the implementation period. Through technical assistance, industry engagement, and other implementation focused activities, SCALE helps small businesses address identified supply chain constraints, strengthen supplier readiness, improve production capability, and expand participation in strategically important supply chains.

The U.S. Department of State's Embassy Cairo announces an open competition to implement a teacher training program serving up to 200 Egyptian university English language teaching assistants, lecturers, and English instructors from across Egypt. This program advances U.S. strategic interests by promoting American culture, strengthening the U.S.-Egypt partnership, and projecting American influence through English language education.Participants will build professional knowledge and skills, enhance English language proficiency, develop a deeper understanding of American culture and values, and acquire the most current English language teaching methodologies — including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in English language instruction.
