Through the RCPP, NRCS seeks to co-invest with partners to implement projects that provide solutions to conservation challenges thereby measurably improving the resource concerns they seek to address. RCPP promotes collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and various communities, which is paramount to achieving equity in NRCS programs and services. The United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ Office of International Visitors (ECA/PE/V) announces an open competition for approximately five cooperative agreements to support the staff expenses and overhead costs of the FY 2027 International Visitor Leadership Program’s (IVLP) National Program Agencies (NPAs). Launched in 1940, the IVLP is the Department of State’s foundational professional exchange program. The IVLP advances America First national security priorities and builds long-term relationships between Americans and international leaders in government, business, academia, and other fields. Recipients design and implement customized short-term visits to the United States for current and emerging leaders from around the world. These visits support U.S. foreign policy goals and reflect the participants’ professional interests. Eligible recipients will have expertise in foreign policy, experience in professional exchange programming, and the ability to provide tailored projects for participants from all countries. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. Community Policing Development (CPD): Law Enforcement Products and Resources funds are used to develop products and resources to provide guidance on promising practices; develop and test innovative strategies; build knowledge about effective practices and outcomes; and support new, creative approaches to preventing crime and promoting safe communities and a positive image of policing. The COPS Office seeks to enhance community policing development through this NOFO in the following two funding categories: Category 1: FY26 Community Policing Development – Law Enforcement Products and Resources The COPS Office CPD: Law Enforcement Products and Resources program provides funding for the development of resources on law enforcement topics, specifically designed for national distribution, that offer creative ideas to advance crime fighting and community policing through common sense policing practices and initiatives. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The FY26 Collaborative Reform Initiative (CRI) Organizational Assessment and Enhanced Training program funding opportunity to identify and implement organizational improvements aligned with the principles of community policing to law enforcement agencies through assessments, technical assistance and enhanced training. The Enhanced Training program offers a suite of innovative new on-line enhanced training experiences for law enforcement professionals nationwide that focus on implementing organizational and operational improvements and measuring outcomes in short amounts of time (between three and six months). They are conducted through a series of regularly scheduled virtual trainings with specific projects developed by participants for completion. The key features of the enhanced training experience include training in cohorts, flexible scheduling, blended learning, and continuous access to trainers and subject matter experts throughout the training period. Enhanced training courses are designed to maximize outcomes, implementation of new concepts, meaningful participation, and sustainability.

The FY26 Collaborative Reform Initiative (CRI) program funding seeks to provide best practices of law enforcement agencies and the many ways they are protecting Americans, enhance officer safety and wellness, build agencies’ capacity for self-improvement and effectiveness, and promote community policing practices nationwide. This funding opportunity has two program subcategories of which applicants may apply for funding: Category 1: Collaborative Reform Initiative Technical Assistance Center (CRI-TAC). Since 2017, CRI-TAC has provided a wide array of TA services using a “by the field, for the field” approach. The CRI-TAC process is agency-driven and offers customizable, short-term technical assistance on more than 60 topics. Category 2: Collaborative Reform Initiative Critical Response. The Critical Response program is designed to provide targeted TA to law enforcement agencies experiencing high-profile events, major incidents, or sensitive issues of varying need.
