Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Reconstructive Transplant Research Program (RTRP) Concept Award supports the exploration of highly innovative new concepts or untested theories that address an important problem relevant to reconstructive transplantation. The Concept Award does not support clinical trials. Distinctive Features: ·        Innovation: Innovative research may introduce a new paradigm, challenge existing paradigms, examine existing problems from new perspectives, or exhibit other highly creative qualities. Research that is an incremental advance upon published data is not considered innovative. ·        Relevance: Projects should address at least one of the FY26 RTRP Focus Areas. ·        Preliminary Data: Presentation of preliminary data is not allowed; however, applications should demonstrate the ability to achieve interpretable results. A rationale for the proposed work must be provided. ·        Early-Career Investigators: Early-career investigators are encouraged to apply. Investigators at or above the level of postdoctoral fellow are eligible to apply.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research is accepting applications for the Scholarly Editions and Translations program. The purpose of this program is to support collaborative teams who edit, annotate, and translate foundational humanities texts that are vital to generating new scholarship but are not available in adequate editions or translations. This year’s competition is limited to projects on American history and culture or Western civilization.

Expected Impact:Accompanying measures are expected to ensure a balanced representation, within the consortium, of relevant academia, research centres, industry and/or industry associations, including just transition actors. They should also involve stakeholders required for the just transition of coal regions. In addition, accompanying measures may provide suggestions for policy initiatives that contribute to the digital, green and circular transformation of the coal communities, in line with the European Green Deal.Objective:Proposals submitted under this topic should relate to one or more of the RFCS objectives for coal, as set out in Council Decision 2008/376/EC.Scope:Accompanying measures aim to promote the use of knowledge gained or the organisation of dedicated workshops or conferences in connection with projects or priorities of the RFCS.

Expected Impact:Each proposal must include an assessment of the expected industrial, economic, social and environmental benefits (Article 26 of Council Decision 2008/376/EC).Objective:Proposals submitted under this topic should relate to one or more of the RFCS objectives for coal as set out in Council Decision 2008/376/EC.Scope:Pilot projects target the construction, operation and development of installations on an appropriate scale.
