Summary: The intent of the Epilepsy Research Program (ERP) Research Partnership Award is to support new or existing research partnerships focused on collaboratively addressing critical questions relevant to post-traumatic epilepsy (PTE) in a manner that would be unachievable through separate efforts. It is expected that investigators will utilize their distinct but complementary perspectives to synergistically address a central problem or question critical to PTE research and those living with PTE, their families and/or their care partners.Distinctive Features: This funding mechanism requires that a minimum of two investigators partner in one overarching study. Only the Initiating Principal Investigator (PI) will submit a pre-application, but all PIs will need to submit full applications. The Partnering PI(s) application is an abbreviated package specific to their distinct portion of the research project. If recommended for funding, each PI will be named on separate awards to the recipient organization(s). This project will fully support a newly established analytical center within the Bosnia and Herzegovina State Prosecutors Office that can provide a data-driven analysis and tailored investigative mentoring to combat TCOs that threaten U.S. security through illicit finance, corruption, narcotics trafficking, and other cross-border criminal activity.

The purpose of this program is to develop and establish new Community Behavioral Health Clinics to address gaps in behavioral health services and improve the wellbeing of persons with mental health and substance use disorders.

The purpose of this program is to sustain and enhance services at existing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs). This includes serving individuals across the lifespan with or at risk for mental health and/or substance use disorders (SUDs). CCBHCs are community-based clinics that offer coordinated, evidence-based outpatient services, including crisis services, while also enhancing access for anyone in need and coordinating care to mitigate gaps in care.

The purpose of the CCBHC State Planning Grants is to support states in: developing and implementing certification systems for CCBHCs; establishing Prospective Payment Systems (PPS) for Medicaid reimbursable behavioral health services; and preparing an application to participate in a four-year Section 223 CCBHC Demonstration program.

Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-term Domestic Supply (FIELDS) Program The Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-term Domestic Supply (FIELDS) Program is intended to expand or bring into operation new, independent domestic fertilizer production capacity in order to provide agricultural producers with additional domestic fertilizer options and strengthen the U.S. fertilizer supply chain. Program funding is intended to support projects that significantly increase domestic fertilizer manufacturing capacity and availability. Eligible projects may include expansions or upgrades of existing facilities, construction of new domestic production facilities, shovel-ready projects capable of rapidly increasing domestic supply, and on-site fertilizer terminals and transportation infrastructure that improve supply chain efficiency. The U.S. Department of State announces an open competition to deliver in-person, specialized English language teacher training and direct student instruction aligned with priority sectors such as space, critical minerals, rare earths, energy, high technology, business and trade, agriculture, media, and security. As U.S. engagement with Uzbekistan increases, English proficiency has become a strategic asset — enabling business and trade professionals, government officials, journalists, security personnel, agribusiness practitioners, and technology specialists to engage directly with Americans, access English-language resources, and generate opportunities that advance U.S. commercial and strategic interests.A shortage of highly proficient English teachers in Uzbekistan limits learners' access to functional, sector-specific English instruction. This program addresses that gap by training teachers to deliver specialized language instruction while simultaneously providing direct instruction to students and emerging professionals in key sectors. Program activities will promote enhanced knowledge of American culture and entrepreneurial spirit alongside language gains, equipping participants to more effectively engage with and operate within U.S. professional environments. The bulk of activities will be delivered in person. Funded programs will run for no more than two years and will produce measurable gains in English proficiency across priority professional communities.

The Decision, Risk and Management Sciences Program (DRMS) supports scientific research directed at increasing understanding and effectiveness of decision making by individuals, groups, organizations and society. DRMS supports research with solid foundations in theories and methods of the social and behavioral sciences. This social and behavioral science research should advance knowledge, address fundamental scientific and societal issues and have strong broader impacts. DRMS funds disciplinary and interdisciplinary research, doctoral dissertation research improvement grants (DDRIGs) and conferences in the following areas: judgment and decision making; decision analysis and decision aids; risk analysis, perception and communication; societal and public-policy decision making; management science and organizational design. The program supports the use of the RAPID funding mechanism for research that involves ephemeral data, typically tied to disasters or other unanticipated events. Much less frequently, the program also supports highly unusual, proof-of-concept, high-risk projects that are potentially transformational (Early Concept Grants for Exploratory Research – EAGER).
