The Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR) high-throughput genotyping, sequencing and supporting statistical genetics services are designed to aid the identification of genes or genetic modifications that contribute to human health and disease or to enhance existing collections of well-phenotyped specimens in biorepositories by the addition of genotype or next-generation sequence data. The laboratory specializes in genomic services that cannot be efficiently carried out in individual investigator laboratories. CIDR provides the most up-to-date platforms, services and statistical genetic support. This is an NIH-wide initiative that is managed by NHGRI. Through WaterSMART, the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) leverages Federal and non-Federal funding to work cooperatively with States, Tribes, and local entities as they plan and implement actions to increase water supply and hydropower reliability. The WaterSMART Program demonstrably advances Trump administration priorities, such as those identified in Presidential Executive Order 14154 (January 20, 2025): Unleashing American Energy (E.O. 14154) and Secretarial Order 3418, and aligns with other priorities and requirements, such as those identified in Presidential Executive Order 14332 (August 7, 2025): Improving Oversight in Federal Grantmaking (E.O. 14332). The goal of the WaterSMART Applied Science Grants (ASG) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to invite eligible entities to apply for funding to improve access to and use of hydrologic data, develop and improve water management tools, and improve hydrologic modeling and forecasting capabilities.Water managers and reservoir operators rely on hydrologic data, modeling, and water supply forecasts to make decisions to meet future water demands. Water supply forecasts are estimates of current and future water supplies based on measured basin conditions (e.g., such as the quantity of upstream mountain snowpack). Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Era of Hope Scholar Award supports individuals who are early in their careers with significant potential to effect meaningful change in breast cancer. As the Intent of the FY26 BCRP Era of Hope Scholar Award is to recognize creative and innovative individuals rather than projects, the award’s central features include the Principal Investigator’s (PI’s) demonstrated ability to go beyond conventional thinking in their field and the innovative and meaningful contributions that they can make toward ending breast cancer. The Era of Hope Scholar Award requires exceptionally talented scientists that are among “the best and the brightest” in their field(s), with demonstrated experience forming effective partnerships and collaborations and strong potential for future leadership in breast cancer research. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The PI must commit a minimum of 25% level of time and effort during the period of performance to conduct breast cancer research under this award.·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.

Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Clinical Research Extension Award supports research that extends the data collection, follow-up, and analysis of breast cancer clinical studies. The intent of this award mechanism is to increase the clinically relevant impact of breast cancer patient participation in clinical studies by addressing the knowledge lost due to early trial termination, limited patient follow-up, or suboptimal sample and/or data collection and analysis. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.·        This funding mechanism allows for a single Principal Investigator (PI), or two partnering PIs referred to as the Initiating PI and the Partnering PI. For the Partnering PI Option (PPIO), only the Initiating PI will submit a pre-application, but both PIs will need to submit at the full application stage. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Transformative Breast Cancer Consortium Development Award provides successful applicants the time and resources needed to bring investigators and breast cancer consumer advocates together to establish a consortium framework and conduct preliminary research in support of an application to a future, full BCRP Transformative Breast Cancer Consortium Award (pending availability of funds). All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        This is a development award and is a separate award mechanism from the full FY26 BCRP Transformative Breast Cancer Consortium Award (HT942526BCRPTBCCA). Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Breakthrough Award mechanism supports promising research with high potential to lead to or make breakthroughs in breast cancer. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception. Applications must address the challenge in a way that can lead to a breakthrough and have major impact. The FY26 Breakthrough Award mechanism contains four different funding levels designed to support major (but not all) stages of research that will lead to clinical application. Each level specifies a distinct research scope. Description: RTL is designed to: (1) promote school readiness and academic achievement through the development and dissemination of accessible instructional programming for preschool and elementary school children and their families; (2) develop and disseminate programming and digital content containing Ready to Learn programming that is specially designed for nationwide distribution over public television stations’ digital broadcasting channels and the Internet; and (3) Produce educational outreach materials and programs that are designed to deepen and extend the effectiveness of the educational television and interactive. RTL accomplishes this by providing grants to support the creation of nationally distributed educational media content that meets the highest standards of educational quality. RTL television and digital media products focus on developmentally appropriate curriculum frameworks that align with widely accepted learning standards. 

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Compensation Formula Grant. Eligible victim compensation programs can use these funds to provide crime victims with compensation, support, and services to aid their restoration after criminal violence, including costs associated with medical fees, lost income, dependent care, funeral expenses, and relocation expenses.

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OVC FY 2026 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance Formula Grant. This opportunity provides an annual VOCA victim assistance grant to all states and most territories to provide subgrants to local organizations and public agencies that provide services directly to crime victims. The purpose of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part C Capacity Development program is to strengthen organizational capacity to increase capacity to develop, enhance, or expand access to high quality HIV primary health care services for low-income people with HIV. The proposed activity should be of a short-term nature and should be completed by the end of the one-year funding opportunity period of performance. Activities fall under two categories: HIV Care Innovation and Infrastructure Development.

​​This notice announces the opportunity to apply for funding under the Rural Health Research Dissemination Program. The purpose of this program is to fund an entity to disseminate and promote rural health services research to broad audiences, such as decision makers and rural stakeholders at national, state, and community levels. FORHP funds health services research through the Rural Health Research Center (RHRC) Program and other cooperative agreements. The successful applicant for this program will develop and maintain a website that catalogs this research so that it is easily and freely accessible to the public. The successful applicant will also develop and maintain strategies to disseminate this research through a variety of innovative mechanisms including (but not limited to) a listserv, social media accounts, presentations, and exhibits at national conferences, and webinars.​

Sickle Cell Disease Regional Care Excellence Program (SoRCE) is to improve the health of people with sickle cell disease (SCD) by expanding access to care, improving the quality of care, and tracking quality of life indicators. There are approximately 100,000 people in the United States with SCD. Treatment starting in early childhood can prevent or reduce complications such as severe pain episodes, silent strokes, and premature death. Despite universal identification at birth, fewer than half of children with SCD receive needed treatment. As these children become adolescents and transition to adulthood many are not appropriately identified as candidates for disease-modifying therapies, in part because their doctors are still learning how to use the latest treatments. The program is made up of seven regions with one award recipient per region serving as a Regional Coordinating Hub (RCH). Each award recipient will work with clinical and community-based partners in their region and engage in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives to improve access and quality of care.
