This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits cooperative agreement research applications to support a multidisciplinary program titled "Accelerating Product Excellence in Innovation and for Clinical Adoption" (APEx), that will facilitate advancement of promising strategies and products for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (TE/RM). APEx will be composed of Resource Centers (RCs) and associated Interdisciplinary Translational Projects (ITPs) in the area of therapeutics (including adult stem cell-based treatments), sensors, and diagnostics. RCs will capitalize on their available clinical, scientific, industrial, regulatory and commercialization expertise, to deliver technical support, research capacity, administrative infrastructure and regulatory and commercialization support to the ITPs and guide them to complete pre-clinical studies toward initiation of clinical trials. ECA announces an open competition for a cooperative agreement to develop and implement a program that will convene cultural ministers from key countries at an iconic location in the United States for high level discussions on cultural heritage and cultural property protection as part of the State Department’s programming to mark America’s 250th birthday. The implementing partner will work closely with ECA to develop the program’s one-to-two-day exchange agenda, including showcasing innovation and new technologies of the U.S. private sector and other American institutions in the cultural heritage field; strengthening cooperation in combatting art and antiquities trafficking; and using cultural heritage to amplify global narratives on America’s foundational values. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the opportunity to apply for approximately $28.5 million in Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 funding. The Pilot Program for TOD Planning helps support FTA’s mission of improving public transportation for America’s communities by providing funding to local communities to integrate land use and transportation planning around a new fixed guideway or core capacity improvement project. Per statute, any comprehensive or site specific planning funded through the program must examine ways to improve economic development and ridership, foster multimodal connectivity and accessibility, improve transit access for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, engage the private sector, identify infrastructure needs, and enable mixed-use development near transit stations.

The purpose of the NINDS Child Neurology Career Development Program (CNCDP) is to facilitate and support the research career development of physicians specialized in Child Neurology who have made a commitment to independent research careers. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) requests applications for Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) Recruitment Sites (RS) to enroll people with Acute Kidney Injuries (AKI) and/or Chronic Kidney Diseases (CKD) into a longitudinal biopsy cohort study. Under-enrolled populations (e.g., AKI) and comprehensive phenotyping remain priorities. New opportunities include clinical biopsies with residual tissue for research, enhanced physiologic phenotyping, repeat biopsies, pediatric recruitment, and collection of healthy reference tissue. The Emergency Medical Services for Children National Pediatric Readiness Coordinating Center (EMSC NPRCC) demonstration program will work to assess and expand "Pediatric Readiness" in hospital emergency departments (ED) and pre-hospital emergency medical services (EMS) systems. Because children have unique physiological, emotional, and developmental characteristics, specialized emergency care is needed. Pediatric Readiness ensures that every EMS and fire-rescue agency and ED has the pediatric-specific leadership, competencies, policies, equipment, and other resources needed to provide high-quality emergency care for children, no matter where they live, attend school, or travel in the United States.

The purpose of the Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems SEED Project: Scaling Effective Early Childhood Systems Development (ECCS SEED) is to address the root causes of chronic disease in early childhood by improving families" access to health care, screening kids early for physical and mental health needs, and connecting parents to services that enable them to provide for their children. The National Research Service Award (NRSA) program supports the training of postdoctoral researchers in biomedical, behavioral, and health services research. Funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and administered in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the program aims to develop a skilled research workforce to advance scientific knowledge in primary care. Under HRSA, the NRSA program provides support to train postdoctoral health care professionals who are planning to pursue careers in biomedical and behavioral health research related to primary care. As the nation"s population grows and ages, the need for well-trained primary care researchers to study the complex array of issues facing the primary care workforce gains greater importance. The NRSA Institutional Research Training Grants administered by HRSA are awarded to eligible institutions to develop or enhance postdoctoral research training opportunities for individuals who are planning to pursue careers in primary care research.

The purpose of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part F Dental Reimbursement Program (DRP) is to improve access to oral health care services for low-income people with HIV, and related education and training to dental providers serving people with HIV. Authorized under section 2692(b) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. § 300ff–111(b)), the DRP provides partial reimbursement to eligible dental schools and accredited dental hygiene programs for the unreimbursed costs of oral health care provided to patients with HIV. Eligible institutions may annually apply for reimbursement based on costs incurred in the prior year. Available funds are distributed among all eligible applicants, taking into account the number of patients with HIV served and the extent of unreimbursed care costs relative to other applicants.

This Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part B Supplemental funding is a statutory funding supplement provided through the HIV Care Grant Program. States/territories use RWHAP Part B Supplemental Grant Program funding in conjunction with RWHAP Part B HIV Care Grant Program funding to develop and enhance access to a comprehensive continuum of high-quality care and treatment services for low-income people with HIV. To obtain funding, states/territories must demonstrate that RWHAP Part B supplemental funding is necessary to provide comprehensive HIV care and treatment services for people with HIV in the state/territory.

The Rural Northern Border Region Network Planning (RNBR-NP) Program provides one-year funding to build new or strengthen existing healthcare networks in the Northern Border Region. RNBR-NP uses network development as a strategy for linking rural health care stakeholders together for greater collective capacity to overcome local challenges, expand access, and improve the quality of care in the rural communities these organizations serve.
