We seek applications to conduct empirical research on societal, organizational, behavioral, group, and individual factors that affect integrity in research, focusing on the identification of the root causes of research misconduct and driving factors for research integrity in compliance with 42 C.F.R. part 93. The projects funded under this opportunity must aim to research any combination of the following focus areas: 1) Explore the financial, cultural, institutional, and individual factors; 2) Assess the effectiveness of policies and training; 3) Investigate reporting and response mechanisms; and 4) Examine how artificial intelligence (AI) acts as a potential driver of research integrity or a risk factor for research misconduct.

This notice solicits applications for projects to plan and implement conferences on research integrity and compliance with 42 C.F.R. part 93. In-person and virtual conferences, or a combination of both, will be considered for funding. This initiative advances Administration priorities to strengthen scientific integrity and research integrity and promote principles of gold standard science – including transparency, reproducibility, and scientific rigor. Conferences must be designed to provide a forum for discussion and produce tangible outcomes related to at least one of the following focus areas: 1) Organization of thematic conference; 2) Skill Building Workshops; and/or 3) Outreach and Education Events. Through these conferences and workshops, the program aims to support the dissemination of evidence-based practices, tools, and approaches that enhance credibility, transparency, and responsible conduct of research and can be applied across institutions and the broader research community.

This notice solicits applications for projects to advance Administration priorities that strength scientific integrity and research integrity, adhering to principles of gold standard science including transparency, data reproducibility, and scientific rigor. The Program Evaluation and Development Program was started by ORI in 2020. The purpose of the grant program is to support projects for the development and implementation of innovative approaches and tools to promote research integrity and prevent misconduct. This includes creating interventions based on empirical evidence, including findings from ORI-funded research, and tools to identify at-risk individuals or laboratories.

This notice solicits applications for practical, data-driven, and scalable projects that support States, Tribal communities, healthcare systems, or community-based organizations in collecting, analyzing, and reporting information related to access to medical forensic examinations for women and girl survivors of sexual assault. Projects funded under this initiative should identify barriers, service gaps, workforce shortages, geographic gaps, wait times, and system-level challenges impacting women and girl survivor access to timely, forensic healthcare services.

The ATTAIN Competitive Grant Program will provide funding to deploy, install, and operate advanced transportation technologies to improve safety, mobility, efficiency, system performance, intermodal connectivity, and infrastructure return on investment. Eligible applicants for ATTAIN Competitive Grant Program funds are: • State or local governments; • transit agencies; • metropolitan planning organizations; • other political subdivisions of a State or local government (such as publicly owned toll or port authorities); • multijurisdictional groups; or • consortiums of research institutions or academic institutions. ATTAIN requires a minimum non-Federal cost share of 20 percent. Applications that do not provide at least the minimum non-Federal cost share will be classified as ineligible.

This NOFO will award up to $350 million in FY 2026 funding via cost reimbursable grants. The actual amount available to be awarded under this notice will be subject to the availability of funds. Eligible States (See Additional Eligibility information below) with greater than 14 percent of total bridges classified in poor condition are to receive no less than $32.5 million, provided the State submits eligible application(s) with a total value that meets or exceeds $32.5 million. There is no minimum award amount for States that do not meet this condition. No State shall be awarded more than $55 million. Under FY 2026 CHBP, the Federal share of the cost is in accordance with 23 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 120. See Section B for more details. Applicants that do not provide at least the minimum non-Federal cost share will be classified as ineligible.

The primary goal of the Native American Resource Center (NARC) will be to enhance the knowledge about older adults in American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiin (AI/AN/NH), community, thereby increase and improve the delivery of services to elders. The NARC will focus on the development and provision of technical information. The NARC's will have a national focus and direct its resource to one or more of the primary concerns in their application which includes health issues, long term care, including in-home care; elder abuse; and other problems and issues facing AI, AN and NH older populations. The NARC's objective will be to 1) gather information, 2) performance research, and 3) provide dissemination of results of research and provide technical assistance and training, to entities that provide services to the targeted older adult population in the AI, AN, and NH communities. Applicants should include anticipated program outcomes, how the outcomes will be measured, and the overall success of the program/activities and how they will be determined.
