The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing and the Administration’s priority of Making America Safe Again by supporting the nation’s state, local, territorial and Tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the FY26 Preparing for Active Shooter Situations (PASS) Program. The preparedness of law enforcement to respond to active shooter incidents is a priority of the Administration. Through the PASS program, the Department of Justice supports this priority by providing funding to deliver nationally recognized, scenario-based training that prepares officers, first responders, and mental health and social service providers on how best to prepare their communities for an active shooter threat or act of terrorism. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the FY26 School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP). This funding opportunity seeks to provide competitive funding directly to states, units of local government, Indian tribes, and their public agencies to improve security at schools and on school grounds in the recipient’s jurisdiction through evidence-based school safety programs. The COPS Office anticipates that up to $73,000,000 will be available for up to $500,000 per award, with approximately 200 awards anticipated. A local cost share (matching funds) of at least 25 percent in the form of cash is required unless a match waiver is requested and approved, and the period of performance duration will be 36 months, with a period of performance start date of 10/1/26.

Science of Learning and Augmented Intelligence (SL) supports potentially transformative research that develops basic theoretical insights and fundamental knowledge about principles, processes and mechanisms of learning, and about augmented intelligence — how human cognitive function can be augmented through interactions with others or with technology, or through variations in context. The program supportsresearch addressing learning in individuals and in groups, across a wide range of domains at one or more levels of analysis, including molecular and cellular mechanisms; brain systems; cognitive, affective and behavioral processes; and social and cultural influences. The program also supports research on augmented intelligence that clearly articulates principled ways in which human approaches to learning and related processes, such as in design, complex decision-making and problem-solving, can be improved through interactions with others or through the use of artificial intelligence in technology. These could include ways of using knowledge about human functioning to improve the design of collaborative technologies that have the capacity to learn to adapt to humans. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) Office on Women's Health (OWH) announces the anticipated availability of funds for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 grants under the authority of section 229 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act (42 U.S.C. § 237a), section 1703(a) of the PHS Act (42 U.S.C. § 300u-2(a)), and all of the authorities under Title XVII of the Public Health Service Act, as amended, pertaining to the mission of the Office on Women's Health." 73 Fed. This notice solicits applications for practical, data-driven, and scalable projects that support States, Tribal communities, healthcare systems, or community-based organizations in collecting, analyzing, and reporting information related to access to medical forensic examinations for women and girl survivors of sexual assault. Projects funded under this initiative should identify barriers, service gaps, workforce shortages, geographic gaps, wait times, and system-level challenges impacting women and girl survivor access to timely, forensic healthcare services.

OPA plans to solicit applications for projects to carry out evaluations of teen pregnancy prevention (TPP) approaches that would make significant contributions to preventing teen pregnancy. OPA intends to make available an estimated $2.2 million for up to nine (9) grant awards for a period of up to three (3) years. OPA will consider evaluation projects that explore new questions in teen pregnancy prevention that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of these programs and services. These grants are for projects that can be conducted within two to three years, such as secondary data analyses or research using existing program and evaluation data, research, or administrative data.

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to create a single, coordinated national training center that provides comprehensive TTA to Title X grant recipients and their networks of sub-recipients and service sites. Title X currently operates through a large and diverse network of more than 3,800 service sites who provide Title X services to close to 3 million low-income individuals annually, and these providers rely on consistent, high-quality support to meet statutory and regulatory requirements and OASH and OPA priorities.

The 9/11 Memorial Act Grant Program provides competitive grants for the continued operation, security, and maintenance of the on-site memorials of the events and victims of the September 11, 2001. For the purposes of this grant, these on-site memorials are referred to as "covered memorials". A "covered memorial" is defined as a memorial located in the United States established to commemorate the events of, and honor the victims of, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, at the sites of the attacks. In addition, covered memorials must offer free admission to active and retired members of the military, registered first responders to the 9/11 attacks, and family members of victims of the attacks as well as offer free admission hours to the general public at least once per week.

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages joint applications for the Global Infectious Disease (GID) Research Training programs from U.S. and low- and middle-income country (LMIC) institutions. The purpose of the Promise Neighborhoods program is to significantly improve the academic and developmental outcomes of children and youth living in the most distressed communities of the United States, including ensuring school readiness, high school graduation, and access to a community-based continuum of high-quality services.
