The Personal Responsibility Education Program-Innovative Strategies (PREIS) builds the evidence base for adolescent pregnancy prevention interventions that are effective with high risk and vulnerable youth populations and addresses gaps with new promising program models. PREIS funds rigorous impact evaluations of innovative youth pregnancy prevention interventions that target services to high-risk, vulnerable, and culturally under-represented youth populations, including youth in foster care/child welfare settings, juvenile justice, victims of trafficking, youth who have runaway or experience homelessness, youth with HIV/AIDS, expectant youth who are under 21 years of age and their partners, parenting youth who are under 21 years of age and their partners, and youth residing in areas with high birth rates for youth. Projects must implement at least three of the six congressionally mandated adulthood preparation subjects (APS) which include: 1) healthy relationships, 2) adolescent development, 3) financial literacy, 4) parent-child communication, 5) educational and career success, and 6) healthy life skills. Projects are required to conduct rigorous impact evaluations (randomized controlled trials or quasi-experimental design studies with assignment to treatment or control group). The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation. REU projects involve students in meaningful ways in ongoing research programs or in research projects specifically designed for the REU program. This solicitation features two mechanisms for supporting student research: REU Sites are based on independent proposals to initiate and conduct projects that engage a number of students in research. REU Sites may be based in a single discipline or academic department or may offer interdisciplinary or multi-department research opportunities with a coherent intellectual theme. REU Supplements may be included as a component of proposals for new or renewal NSF grants or cooperative agreements or may be requested for ongoing NSF-funded research projects. REU projects with an international dimension are welcome. Undergraduate student participants in either REU Sites or REU Supplements must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals,or U.S. permanent residents. The USDA’s Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) works to nourish those in need through financially sound programs that promote health and work, as well as champion the productivity of American agriculture. The purpose of these grants is to support SNAP State agencies in meeting these requirements and testing different income verification services to determine the most cost-effective solution. The EVS grants support SNAP State agencies with their efforts to electronically verify the earned income of SNAP applicants and recipients. States may use grant funds to contract with commercial vendors to use third-party income databases (TPIDs) that provide electronic verification of employment and earnings in support of these functions. FNA announces, through this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), up to $38 million in grant funds for the fiscal year (FY) 2026 SNAP EVS grant opportunity. . The NOFA provides the maximum allocation amount for each State. Funds are being offered noncompetitively using a formula-based distribution approach and will be available to the 53 State agencies that administer SNAP. The proposed award period of performance is 24 months beginning September 2026 through September 30, 2028.

​​The Division of Runaway and Homeless Youth will award one cooperative agreement on a competitive basis for a period of three years to operate the National Communication System (NCS) for Runaway and Homeless Youth Program. The NCS is a dedicated toll-free, US national communication system that provides information, referral services, crisis intervention, prevention approaches, and other supportive services to vulnerable, at-risk, and runaway and homeless youth, and their families or legal guardians. The purpose of the NCS is to a) prevent youth from running away and becoming homeless, b) link youth with a family member or guardian, and/or an available resource that can provide and/or assist the youth in acquiring needed services, and c) increase prevention education to reduce runaway incidents and youth homelessness.​

This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the BJA FY2025/2026 Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Formula Grant Program. This opportunity provides combined FY 2025 and FY 2026 appropriations to support comprehensive violent crime reduction strategies coordinated by the U.S. Attorney’s Offices (USAOs) in the 94 federal judicial districts throughout the 50 states and the U.S. territories. PSN is a nationwide initiative that brings together federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement officials, prosecutors, community-based partners, and other stakeholders to address violent crime through coordinated enforcement strategies that target criminal organizations, dangerous offenders, and threats to public safety, including those posed by transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), drug trafficking, human trafficking, and violent criminal aliens. This program is a central element of the DOJ’s efforts to empower prosecutors and law enforcement to protect their communities from ongoing threats and to implement the core policy objectives of “Operation Take Back America.”

The purpose of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 NIMS Cooperative Agreement is to support EMAC, which is a congressionally ratified mutual aid compact (Pub. L. No. 104-321). The “purpose of the compact is to provide for mutual assistance between the states entering into the compact in managing any emergency disaster that is duly declared by the Governor of the affected state, whether arising from natural disaster, technological hazard, man-made disaster, civil emergency aspects of resources shortages, community disorders, insurgency or enemy attack.” The FY 2026 NIMS Cooperative Agreement The NIMS-EMAC NOFO addresses the challenge of closing funding gaps for EMAC operations, ensuring a swift and coordinated response to emergent threats and disasters. The success of EMAC rests on sustaining, maintaining and improving its operational capability and the capabilities and implementation of its members. It seeks to solve the problem of fragmented emergency management efforts by strengthening interconnectivity and collaboration between federal agencies and non-federal partners. The NIMS-EMAC NOFO supports Mission 5: Build a Resilient Nation and Respond to Incidents, Objective 5.2: Strengthen National Resilience, and Objective 5.4: Enhance Training and Readiness of First Responders, of the DHS 2023 Quadrennial Homeland Security Review (QHSR). 1.      Project Background, Goals, and Objectives American Corners in Albania have a consistent record of delivering youth entrepreneurship and economic advancement programming – from English language courses designed to build employability, to coding and tech skills bootcamps, to structured entrepreneurship incubators - each iteration reaching more participants year after year, expanding through all three Corners, and generating measurable results, including participants who have gone on to launch their own registered businesses. Most recently, American Corner Tirana hosted the launch of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania Young Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee, furthering the Corner’s role as a hub for U.S.-Albania business engagement. Taken together, this programming has demonstrated that structured, mentorship-driven engagement at American Corners works and is undoubtably well received by audiences. It has also revealed a clear gap: participants need longer-term engagement, direct connections to U.S. business networks, and concrete pathways to launch – not just develop – their ideas. This effort seeks to address multiple facets of export control challenges. The first component will analyze trade data, create exemplary visualizations (e.g., dashboards), and train export control authorities to use data analysis for export control implementation. The second component will design, develop, and deploy a smartphone-accessible application for frontline officers to detect and identify export-controlled commodities. The third component will train recipients to effectively, responsively, and proactively engage regulated industry based on identified proliferation trends.

This program will fund projects focused on technology-enabled strategies that improve adoptive matching, placement, and permanency for children in foster care awaiting adoption. The funds, awarded to four regional centers, will be used to design, implement and evaluate these strategies.These centers will focus on children with an adoption permanency goal or who are legally free for adoption due to child welfare involvement. Centers will partner with state, territorial, tribal, and local child welfare agencies and courts to develop secure, accessible technology solutions that improve how families are matched with children in need of permanent homes. Proposed solutions must be interoperable with existing systems and may include tools such as data-informed recruitment support, AI-assisted matching, and predictive analytics.Each center will strengthen data infrastructure, support continuous quality improvement, and develop scalable resources that jurisdictions nationwide can adopt. ACF will define four national service regions to ensure full U.S. coverage.
